A Good Deed Overextended

When will the United States get its troops out of Iraq? History proves that when a people are occupied by an alien force that those people and that nation will not achieve internal stability. We have done our good deed in regards to the government of Iraq and now it is long past time to call it a day and allow the people of that country to create their own fate. Our presence there now is only achieving more American injuries and deaths with nothing of value to show for it. What now is our presence there doing except for prolonging the internal conflicts of that nation and if the case be so that they should tumble headlong into anarchy that is their business and not ours to harbor. We have done as we have done and now it is time to move on for what will eventually be will be with or without us.

Who designated the United States of America to be the world's police force and to be the caretakers of the entire globe? For the majority of the United States history its citizens of color were being treated like dogs by the majority and no other nation of the earth took a notion to dip its nose into this nations internal business and without external intervention the dignity and the quality of life for those who were alienated has significantly improved for the better by inner means and a working effort to live and to govern with justice for all. No nation and no people of the earth will make it thru the day without experiencing its and their fair share of disagreements and civil disruptions because that is human by nature either individually or collectively. A people nor a nation should presume that it knows what is best for an individual person nor a nation of people and this is especially true when cultures are different.

When should a nation draw the limit and say that it has done enough? Should that moment in time be when outside help is no longer needed and by the same token the need for help may well be endless and in this light when should a nation say that it cannot continue to be an enabler? What annoys anyone is someone who will not mind their own business and those who intertwine themselves into another's personal affairs more often than not make for themselves enemies on all sides rather than a cheerful neighbor. No person and no nation is free of shortcomings and guilt and the judgment stone to be cast has the flight properties of a boomerang. Every person and every nation has an inalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and if that person or that nation of people so chooses confusion and destruction as their legitimate right then let them go forward unhindered as long as they keep their troubles to and within themselves.

In its dealings with Iraq and Afghanistan the United States should heed the example of the snowflake that performs its work and then know when it is time to evaporate and what do you have in the Middle East if you should take away the oil other than desert nomads riding upon the backs of weary camels and for greed the United States remains in place under the guise of combating terrorism while drug lords devastates the home front and the leader is content to allow the country to manage itself by whim. The days of the lone wolf is done and over because the problems and the challenges of the present world is much too complex and vast for one nation to competently address them which is why the moving mechanics for the multitude of separate states has a driving undercurrent to form itself into a one world government with greatly expanded capabilities and unregulated resources to address the world concerns as a single entity.
