A Great Fall Craft Fair in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania

Fall is the Best Time for Craft Festivals

Jennifer Bove
In this day and age, everything is bought and sold, and then thrown away, in such an impersonal matter. There isn't a whole lot of pride in craftsmanship and no personal aspect. Everything seems to be made in a factory and falls apart as fast as you can name the store you bought it in. Personally, the only things that have survived into my adulthood are things that were made by my great grandmother, like her afghans and pretty dolls she made. When attending a craft fair, you see that indeed, people do still create masterpieces worthy to place in your home that will last your lifetime and more.

Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen Fine Craft Fairs October 16 & 17, 2010

At this craft fair there will be over one hundred known artists, and craftsmen/women. There will be six new upcoming artists introduced at this craft fair as well. I know when I think of crafts, I think of knitting and homemade dolls, but there is so much more out there and Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen Fine Craft Fair is a great place to see that.

What to Expect at Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen Fine Craft Fairs in Blue Bell, PA

So what kind of crafts might you be introduced to at this great fair? There will be sculpture and pottery and baskets hand woven, wonderful accents to add to your home to add that loving charm. There will be quilts that you can buy to cuddle up to in the upcoming winter months that will last far longer than any store bought quilt. There will even be clothing and jewelry! There's nothing like having something unique in your wardrobe. Since these are handmade, you will ave something you can wear or accessorize with that you know hasn't been churned out in a factory with a thousand other ones made the same exact way.

For The Children at Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen Fine Craft Fairs in Blue Bell, PA

What craft fair would be complete without a section for the children to explore their own hidden talents and love of crating with their own tiny hands? At the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen Fine Craft Fair, there is plenty of activities for the children to explore their talents and have fun. Definitely a kid friendly fair. We've all been there, walking around, trying to look at the crafts with the children whining, because quite frankly, craft fairs may interest us, but not the children. At this craft fair, not only will there be crafts they will be interested in seeing, but there will be activities that they will be happy to participate in. Who knows, you may even find you have a real artist on your hands.
