A Great Man

Regina Sunderland
Father's Day Poem

When all the world seemed to crash
around my ears and more,
When all the sense of me was bashed
and I was crumbled on the floor.

My Dad was there to give me aid,
to pick me up again.
And showed me how the world was made,
of happiness and pain.

He made me laugh, he made me cry,
was always near me and stood by
my side when I needed him the most,
no matter what the cost.

I miss my dad now that he's gon
eand thank him daily for all he's done.
