Diet and Exercise
Beauty is about keeping yourself healthy and in shape and taking care of your body the best you can. Diet and exercise is crucial. Have you heard the saying 'you are what you eat'? This can be very true. If you eat a lot of fast food, sugar and junk, you are a lot more likely to develop pimples and greasy lank hair. Overdoing the alcohol or cigarettes can not only affect your beauty but age you too. A smoker can look up to ten years older than he or she actually is! Fresh fruit and vegetables are important in your diet, as is making sure you drink plenty of water.
Exercise is another very important factor in your beauty. Not only does it keep you in shape but it is great to give your organs, muscles a workout and burn excess calories. There are so many forms of exercise that there is something for everyone. If you don't like pumping iron in a gym, you can jog outdoors, play tennis, swim, take up a martial art or buy a mini trampoline. Anything that gets your heart rate up is good cardiovascular exercise, and this contributes to your beauty.
Make Up - Less is More
So many women have no idea about cosmetics. You can get free make up advice online or at the cosmetic counter in a shop. If you cake yourself in make up, it tends to look obvious. Make up is meant to enhance your good points whilst covering your not so good ones. A lot of women tend to go overboard and apply way too much. This works out more expensive as well as making you look like you are desperately trying to hide something.
True Beauty
If you take a good look at your diet, exercise regime and personal care, you might be able to find ways to improve and enhance your beauty. Remember too that beauty comes from within and nobody is perfect. Enhance the things you like about yourself and don't dwell on the things you dislike. That is the true meaning of beauty.
