Yeah I know what your thinking, if you've never had a Guinness in an Irish Pub in Ireland than you are probably thinking what is this dude going on about. Well you really have to experience it to get the full picture but let me tell you if there is one beer I love getting smashed on it is Guinness and what better place than a loud, rough, yet cozy Irish Pub filled with a bunch of loud violent Irish people. Yes it is picturesque and I will always remember my trip to that beautiful Island, but enough said about that.
There are a wide range of alcohol percentages in beers commonly ranging from around 3.7% all the way up to 13%(But these are rare), the most common are usually around 4 to 6 percent.
Beer consistency also changes, there is light beer, dark beer, brown beer, creamy beer, white beer, blonde beer, and the list goes on.( Note: these are types from all over the world as I have been around quite a bit not all of these can you find in America)
Beer is great to get drunk my only problem with it is that it is pretty fattening and usually the amount taken to get you smashed is a hell of a lot of, so if you have problems with your weight I would advise other types of alcohol.
Some people have complained that they hate the taste of beer and can't stand it, all I can say to them is that I used to be the same but after a steady increase over the years I have grown to love it and will drink it especially if I'm with some friends or in a social gathering and will drink it a lot.
Mixing beer with wine is a big no go please try not to drink both on the same night as it will make you pretty sick, I could tell you some really rough experiences with doing that, which include puking and being sick for days after.
A great way to get hammered fast is by glugging, this is a very fun activity in which you use a plastic pipe or even a straw and start drinking and not stopping until you see black (HA).
Oh a tip is, if you are planning on really drinking a lot of beers I would suggest that you should stick to light beers, they have the same effect but don't put on as much fat as the others do.
Some personal favorites of mine include: Coors Light, Heineken, Guinness, Presidente, and Bud just to name a few but I am not picky and will usually drink just about any type of beer so long as it is over 3%.
I hope that this taught you something about one of my favorite drinks and I will be writing some more alcohol articles in the future.
