Revlon Hair Products

I have used Revlon hair products for years. To dye my hair, I use Revlon Colorsilk. It is a very inexpensive hair dye, usually about 3 to 5 dollars a box at many different stores. I have found that the color on the box is very true to the color you get when you dye your hair, unlike some dyes where it comes out different. The instructions are clear, precise, the solutions are easy to mix, and the whole process is easy to complete. There are no funny smells, what does smell is very sweet and faint, and the conditioner included in the box works well to mask any odor. You can also calla Revlon hair color expert at any time for any questions or concerns you have, as their number is right on the side of the box. Revlon Colorsilk is a great product, and I will continue to use it for years to come.

Breck's Hair Detangler

I use detangler on both my children as they each have quite long hair that tangles easily. I purchased Brecks brand of detangler for a mere 2.00 at the dollar store near me. For that little, you get a rather large bottle, 12 fluid ounces, in a pretty, kid-friendly package. The flavor is "melon burst" and is very fruity, yet not too strong. You can use it on wet or dry hair, although I tend to use it when their hair is dry. It works great on those mornings when the kids have "bed head", or on hot summer days when the humidity is high and the hair starts to frizz. There is no need to rinse it out, simply spray it in, comb through, and go. With a mixture of oleo, water, vitamin E, and more, it helps hair not only de-tangle, but stay shiny and soft. A must for anyone with kids!

Loreal's Sublime Bronze

I purchased L'Oreal's self-tanner, called Sublime Bronze, because my legs do not tan very well. I wanted to try and even them up e=with the rest of my body for the summer. So I purchased this tanner and went to work on my legs. First off, it is an "any angle" tanner, meaning you can hold the bottle upside down, sideways, whatever, and the spray will come out great. But after that, I wasn't too happy with it. My tan came out looking a bit orange, and it was very sticky putting it on. I applied it daily, as directed, put noticed that a little bit near my leg had peeled. So I peeled the rest of it off and realized that I now had a big white patch against my tannish-orangish skin. I discontinued using it after that. I think this would be a great tanner if you applied it every other day, very slightly, just to get a bit of a glow. The smell was quite nice, though, like suntan lotion. Overall, I wasn't too happy with this product and may try different brands in the future.
