If you've ever been to a real Japanese restaurant then the odds are that you've tried sake at least once in your lifetime. For most people this is not exactly the easiest alcoholic drink to consume, but for many it is a sweet nectar that they really enjoy. If you happen to be one of those people that really enjoy sipping on a nice sake, then you may want to look into these varieties that you can easily purchase on line for a very reasonable cost. These are great ideas if you plan on hosting a lovely Japanese dinner party or even if you and your date are just sitting down with some homemade sushi or tempura. Just be careful about how much you drink because sake can cause you to have a massive headache if you over indulge.

The Senkin Sake Brewery in Japan just celebrated their 200th year and the fact that they use restored wooden barrels to make their sake to bring back the warm Japanese culture give their sakes a deep earthy taste and aroma. Nakatsu is a city rich in natural resources surrounded by ocean, mountains and clean clear stream. A natural source of lightly alkaline spring-water makes their Yoshitoki Mild Mugi Shochu light and soft yet the use of black malt makes it flavorful and harmonious fragrance and moreover the method of non-carbon filter accentuates natural sweetness of barley. Yokota Brewery was established over two hundred years ago in Gyoda city. It is located by two prominent rivers which provide sufficient spring water and fruitful land resulting in optimum conditions that are important when making good sake. They offer a great sake for $23 called Nihonbashi Junmai which has a distinctive rice aroma and a high acidity which creates the true depth of a sake.
