A Guide to Coffee Houses in Sacramento, California

This is a guide to Sacramento coffee shops. I see no reason to do a review on any major chain coffee shops because I'm sure just about everyone out there has at least popped their head in one of these joints, if not to get coffee than at least to use the john during an emergency stop on a road trip, and once you've seen one you've seen them all.

So here are some of the local coffee shops around my area that offer their own unique charm.

True Love Coffee House

(916) 448-5683

2315 K St, Sacramento, CA 95816

This is a great place to hang out and relax while enjoying a high quality drink. The coffee tastes great, the staff is friendly, and to add to the fun and charm if you do a Jimmy JJ Walker Impression (DYNO-MYTE) your drink will be free. True Love Coffee House also offers a well sized outdoor area so you can view the downtown city life and wonderful Sacramento weather; if there's a chill in the air they also have heat lamps. This is a place that really goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. For these reasons you can personally find me there every day. I'll be the guy in the cool hat so feel free to stop by and say hi.

Infusion Cafe

(916) 442-8889

1628 K St, Sacramento, CA 95814

This is a cool place that offers much more than just coffee. The prices are fair and the food is great. The coffee is top notch as well. The menu is very diverse which gives you plenty of reasons to stop by a few times a week. The service and food is fast and pleasant. The bubble chairs are comfortable and unique. Also features free Wi-Fi. Overall this place is much more than a coffee house and can easily be a place you can spend the day. I personally visit this place at least twice a week so remember look for the hat and say hello.

Butch N Nellie's Coffee Company

(916) 443-6133

1827 I St, Sacramento, CA 95811

The coffee is good and the comfort and atmosphere is great. The walls are furnished with original art work that gives the place a nice feel. The prices are a little high and the menu is standard for a coffee house (muffins and breakfast sweets). This is a solid comfortable coffee house that many people I know absolutely LOVE. I personally only go there when my friends insist on going there as I prefer one of the previously mentioned places but I never regret going to this place. You may even see me here look for the guy in the hat enjoying a fresh brew with a couple of friends.

I can't write this in the third person... I just can't. To do so would make me feel like a douche big enough to accommodate Madonna. My articles are a change of pace from what you can expect anywhere else. M...  View profile
