DB2 - UDB : Preparation for Examination:
A good theoretical as well as practical knowledge are the main prerequisites of this examination. At least 30 hours of preparation you need for this examination. So you may take one or two months for preparation. Again it is always better to download the DB2 personal edition and try to use and learn it extensively. Some of the questions really demand your hands-on experience in DB2 fundamentals. Reading of the six tutorials is always good, but it will be the best if you can read (not in depth) one level higher of those books which are available for next level of examination.

DB2 - UDB : Steps to be followed:
1. Read the entire six IBM tutorials in details. All tutorials are available in IBM site. There is very good tutorial available at this site DB2 UDB 700 tutorial.
2. Download the DB2 8.2 or 8.1 to your personal system and play around it as much as you can. The link to download this software is available here.
3. Take the practice tests from Self Test Software site. You need to create the user ID and password for in order to take the test on Self Test Software site.
4. Locate your test site and make an appointment for the test. I guess prior to 19 days only you can schedule your test.
5. On the day of test you need to carry two proofs of your identification which contains your signature.
