7135 Gilespie Street
McCarran International Airport
Standing as one of the best value car rental places in the city, Thrifty has consistently proven great service and quality along with a discount price. With many deals and specials on their website, all kinds of different vehicles are available - from compact, mid-size and economy cars, to all kinds of full-size vans and SUVs. Such autos as convertibles and Wranglers are also available. If you're fine with compact, you'll probably only be paying around $90 a week. That is without specials. The service here is exceptionally great, with a quick check-in process and even faster return.
Dollar Rent A Car
7135 Gilespie Street
McCarran International Airport
There are several other locations throughout Las Vegas, including inside many of the hotels on the Strip.
Dollar is a long-standing low-priced car rental company that offers just about any type of car you can imagine - compact, mid-size, economy, full-size, luxury, vans, SUVs, all-terrain, and more. Many of the cars are practically brand new, and always kept clean. The cost of a rental car per day runs around $30, cheaper if you take advantage of one of their nice online specials. Service is great here, with friendly representatives that do their best to save you any hassle. Picking up cars and dropping them back off are generally quick and painless processes, but if you do business at the airport, there may be times you'll have to wait in a line.

7135 Gilespie Street
McCarran International Airport
or
4744 Paradise Rd.
US Rent A Car has served the Las Vegas area for 30 years, and continues to offer the quality service for a great value to their customers. There is a nice selection of cars here, whether you're looking for economy, luxury, mini vans, or SUVs. There are also some full-size vans that hold anywhere from 8 to 15 passengers, pickup trucks, and convertibles. Rates begin around $30/day (taxes and surcharges included) for compact cars. Mileage is unlimited.
The vehicles are very easy to pick up and return, and if you call them you can arrange for their courtesy shuttle to arrive either at the airport or your hotel to transport you to their office. Pick-up is free at the Strip and downtown hotels.
Alamo Rent A Car
7135 Gilespie St.
McCarran International Airport
Alamo provides one of the highest standards in car rentals - it's not the cheapest, but very reasonably priced for what you receive. Compact cars start at around a daily rate of $27, full-size around $40, and full-size SUVs around $100 - all after taxes and surcharges. Of course, many other vehicle options are available. Depending on how much you're spending, you can save quite a bit of money if you pay in advance instead of when you pick up the car.
The service here is very efficient, with representatives that are very courteous and as helpful as can be. Though at times it can be slow just as any airport rental company, generally picking up and dropping off the vehicle is pretty painless. There is also a shuttle service that takes you from or to the airport.
Payless Car Rental
7135 Gilespie Street
McCarran International Airport
Since 1971, Payless Car Rental has been one of the cheapest rental companies in the city. With a variety of domestic and international cars in all shapes and sizes, affordable options come in the form of economy, compact and luxury cars, as well as many types of SUVs and both mid- and full-size vans. For a compact car, expect to pay around $120 - $150 a week. Many cars start around $15 - $20 a day (before taxes). With a service that isn't the most outstanding but also isn't any worse off than any other rental company, this is one of the best options if your main concern is price.
