SDR2010
One of the things that New York is known for is good bagels, I have seen a lot of television shows on the Food Network and these shows would always discuss the quality of the New York bagels. They say that the water makes these bagels special because they quality of the water in New York is the best for the quality of baked good. I find that this is very true in my experience because I have been able to travel around the United States and I have found that the bagels are the best in New York. As a child I would always bring a bagel to school for lunch and this meant that I basically consumed a bagels every day for years of my life. In this time I have found some amazing New York bagels and some that are not great. I would like to share some of the best bagel places in New Rochelle, New York.

Sammy's New York Bagels is one of the best bagel stores that I have ever been to in New Rochelle, New York. They are located at 110 Centre Ave and this place is great because they serve bagels that are fresh out of the oven. They place the bagels directly on the rack from the oven and you can let them know which you would prefer. If they are not ready at the time then you can wait and they will serve you when the bagel is taken out of the over. This is a great place for fresh bagels and the staff is very helpful if you are unsure about what bagel to get. They close at 5PM every day and the average price of a bagel runs $1.50 here.

Bagel Depot located at 243 Main St. is one of the best bagel places that I have ever been to in New York. What makes this place different is their bagels are very soft. I like tender bagels and this is the best place to get bagels that are so soft they fall apart. I suggest the plain bagel or their poppy bagel because it is loaded with poppy seeds. However, they are only open until 9 every night. They close at 8:30PM every night and the average cost of a bagel here is $2.25.

Bakery At Four Corners is located at 4668 Boston Post Rd and this is the place to get if you like breakfast on a bagel. They also have fresh pastries and rolls in addition to their very fresh bagels. They serve eggs with ham on a bagel that is worth the trip alone. Expect to spend about $5 on their egg bagels and you will love them. They close at 9PM every night and the bagels are $2.00 each here.
