Taylor Park is a gorgeous 16 acre park and recreation area. Taylor Park offers many activities for Millburn residents and visitors. There is a nice playground area for children. If you love sports, you can play a game of basketball on the basketball courts, play of game of tennis and watch a game of baseball on the baseball fields. You can also take a relaxing walk around the pound or a power walk on the walking trail. The Bauer community center is located at Taylor Park. Gero Park is located in 36 acres of land that includes a large playground for children. Gero Park has lighted tennis courts, Basketball courts as well as roller hockey courts. Baseball fields are also available at Gero Park. There is also a large recreation building at Gero Park. You can reach the recreation building staff at (973) 379-2221 Gero Park is located at 33 White Oak Ridge Rd, Short Hills NJ.
The Millburn township pool is located at Gero Park and is open to residents from Memorial day until Labor day. The Township poll offers residents and visitors a large pool that includes a slide. There is also a smaller wading pool. If you swimming lessons for yourself or child, instructors are available. The telephone number for the Gero Park township pool is (973) 379-3822
The Millburn Township Par 3 Golf Course is also located at Gero Park. The Par 3 golf coarse opens April 1st every year for residents. If you are not a resident of the Millburn area, a limited number of guest memberships are available. Call for more details. You can reach the golf coarse staff at (973) 379-4156
Hobert Avenue Park is located in Short Hills and has baseball fields and a play area. For more information on the Millburn Short Hill little league you can call (973) 379-5423 or visit the Millburn Short Hills Little League website here
Old Short Hills Park is located on 41 acres and is perfect for a picnic. Picnic benches are available. There is a large pond here at Old Hills Park. This park is meant for passive recreation so you will not find basketball courts, playgrounds, or baseball fields here.
Green Wood Gardens is located at Old Short Hills Park. This 28 acre public park has been registered as a historic area. Guided garden tours are available year round. If you plan on taking a tour you must call to make a reservation. You can call (973) 258-4026 for tour reservations. Many events are planned through out the year at Green Wood Gardens for residents and visitors.
