A Guide to Miniature Golf Courses in Sacramento, California

Jason Cooley
Whether you're looking for an activity that is fun for the whole family, or just want a fun way to work on your short game mini golf is the way to go. This is a guide to local mini golf parks in the Sacramento, California area. This guide covers 3 unique and popular parks in the area and will also cover additional attractions the park offers. The Sacramento area has seen many mini golf parks come and go throughout the years but these ones have lasted mainly because the other locations were provided in less family friendly atmospheres where gang gatherings often lead to confrontations and became a place that people avoided. These last remaining places have done it right and are still around as a result.

Scandia

This is the area's longest standing mini golf park. The course is well maintained and has many creative setups and obstacles for a good sporting challenge. You get one chance at the 18th hole to win a free game. In addition to the mini golf visitors can make a day of the other activities the park offers such as bumper boats, go carts, multiple speed batting cages, a fully stocked arcade with all the latest popular games and even a large carnival style ride for the more daring called "The Scandia Sky Screamer" but don't let the name fool you as there is no screaming allowed due to complaints of Scandia's neighbors.
