The subject I am about to tackle is a sensitive one. Many people experience this but are embarrassed to ask for tips to avoid having this condition: Bad breath. Studies show that one out of four people suffer from it and they are as clueless as they are abashed. This condition is often understated because it can affect out daily lives in many ways. Whether you're asking someone in line or asking for the time, when you open your mouth the person you are talking to won't be too eager to answer you. It may affect you greater than you think; it can restrict you from having an intimate moment with someone you like and your loved ones. Imagine having your first kiss and constantly worrying whether or not your hubby is turned off by that foul smell. Or what about that first night together when you can't dodge him catching a sniff of your breath, think of what a nightmare that would be. Does not despair there are ways to cure for this but first let me tell you what the common costs of this condition are.

Oral Micro organisms, oral bacteria generally speaking are most likely the common reason why there are stinky breaths. You can prevent them with good oral hygiene. Make you toothbrush your best friend and carry it with you if you're having lunch or meals outside. Flossing and tongue scrapping is also a good way to eliminate the bad bacteria.

There are also food related bad breaths, garlic soup, onion rings and strong dishes are the common examples of these. If you are out on a date and have no time to brush your teeth, a simple mint can be a life saver. You can also use peppermint if you have one at hand.

Smoking not just only causes cancer but a bad breath as well. So if you want to live long and be minty fresh, quit smoking.

Bad breath due to dentures, if not cleaned properly they can be potential health hazards and yes - cause of bad breath.

Perhaps the most uncommon of all is having a bad breath because of a dry mouth. To avoid this it's as easy as drinking water regularly and presto! Say your goodbyes to bad breath.

In the long run taking care of your health and taking care of your teeth is the only way to go for that minty fresh breath.
