Every time Facebook's Quiztastic is started, you are given the option to either play or create quizzes. You can also view your Quiztastic IQ, and reputation. Clicking on your profile will let you see more detailed results such as the number of quizzes taken, along with the score on each. You can also view any awards won on Quiztastic.

After selecting the option to take a Quiztastic quiz, you are taken to the main quiz menu. At the top will be a featured quiz. Underneath the featured quiz are the latest created quizzes on Quiztastic. To the right are top rated quizzes taken by other Facebook Quiztastic users. There is also the choice to take a random quiz, or browse quizzes by category.

Quizzes on Quiztastic are split up into categories such as entertainment, friends, geography, history and culture, other, science and nature, and sports. When browsing quizzes on Quiztastic for Facebook you can sort quizzes by popularity, rating, time created, and language.

Each quiz has flash animation, in a style similar to an Esurance commercial. One thing that detracts from the overall experience of playing Facebook's Quiztastic is that after each quiz a commercial comes up before results are given. After the commercial is over, you can see your score and rate the quiz or other Quiztastic users.

Quiztastic lets you post results to your Facebook wall after each quiz. You are also provided with a url to your score so that you can email it. With each Quiztastic quiz taken, your reputation builds. When you receive more correct answers than wrong ones, your Quiztastic IQ will go up, and vice versa.

While creating a quiz on Facebook's Quiztastic, you have the option to set the privacy of your quiz to only selected friends, all friends, or anyone. The ability to choose who on Facebook is allowed to see and take quizzes you create on Quiztastic is definite plus.

After creating the name for your quiz, writing a description, uploading a picture, and choosing the privacy setting for your Quiztastic Quiz, you then choose what "studio" your quiz takes place in. The studio you choose decides the animated host for your quiz.

Each quiz you create on Quiztastic for Facebook must have at least five questions. Each question will let you upload a picture. After typing in the question, one must first type in the answer to their question before imputing any incorrect answers. To delete an answer, or to have less than four answers for a question, simply click on the red x in the right hand side of the answer box.

While creating a quiz, if you look at the top left hand side of Facebook's Quiztastic you will see a small disk. Pressing this will allow you to save your progress on your quiz and come back to finish it later. After finishing a quiz you will be able to invite people to take it.

Playfish's Quiztastic for Facebook is a clean looking, fun, and easy to use Facebook application for taking and creating quizzes for amongst your Facebook friends. The only detraction from Playfish's Quiztastic for Facebook is the annoying commercials after each quiz before receiving your score. If you don't mind a thirty second wait, then Quiztastic will quickly become one of your favorite Facebook applications.
