A Guide to Southern Baptist Churches in the U.S

Before my family and I moved to Nebraska we were members of a Southern Baptist Church in Norfolk, Virginia. It was very hard when we had to leave and we knew that we had to find a church in our new city. But doing so was a challenge considering we live in a smaller town.

When talking to other families they also admitted having a hard time trying to locate one. So I decided to make a list of Southern Baptist Churches letters A through L throughout the United States.

1. Alabama-"Church at Brook Hills" is located in Birmingham at 3145 Brook Highland Parkway. Service times are Sundays at 9:00 am and at 10:45 and Sunday nights at 6:00 pm; common attire is informal/casual and there are children's ministries and bible study for the adults. 2. Arkansas-"Church at Rock Creek" is located in Little Rock at 11500 West 36^th Street. Service times are Sundays at 9:00 am and at 10:45 am and Monday nights at 7:00 pm; common attire is casual and they have men, women, and children's ministry as well as bible studies throughout the week. 3. Arizona-"Love Baptist Church" is located in Phoenix at 3030 West Glendale Avenue. They have many service times available; Sundays at 8:00 am, 10:45 am, and 6:00 pm. In addition to the service times they also meet on Wednesday nights starting at 6:30 pm for bible study; common attire is casual and they have men, women, children, and teen ministries. 4. California-"Shadow Mountain Community Church" is located in El Cajon at 2100 Greenfield Drive. Service times are Saturdays at 5:00 pm, Sundays at 9:00 am, 10:45 am, and 6:00 pm; common attire is formal/informal/casual. There are various ministries including sports and recreation. 5. Colorado-"Riverside Baptist Church" is located in Denver at 2401 Alcott Street. Service times are Adult and Youth Sunday School at 9:00 am and the Worship service starts at 10:30 am; common attire is casual. 6. Delaware-"First Baptist Church of Delaware" is located in New Castle at 901 East Basin Road. Service times are Sunday school at 10:00 am and Worship Service at 11:00 am. Service times are Saturday evenings at 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm, Sundays 9:30 am and 11:30 am, and the first Wednesday of the month the service starts at 7:00 pm; common attire is casual and there are various ministries for every age group as well as weekly bible studies.
