Sitting between the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers lays the vibrant city of St. Louis. Known for Anheuser-Busch and the St. Louis Cardinals, it's a city full of entertainment. From its founding by Auguste Chouteau in 1764, the city has grown to become a city of rich history and culture.

Throughout St. Louis there are many places for entertainment and food. Surly someone having never been to the city might find it difficult to find these incredible establishments, however, With the help of a St. Louis resident, finding the best places throughout town is not a problem.

The first thing someone coming to St. Louis will recognize is the Arch. First built in 1963, the Arch has since become the tallest national monument in the United States, standing at 630 feet. Each year, over a million people take the elevator to the top, overseeing what the city of St. Louis has to offer.

Tickets for the Arch can be purchased online or at the site. Trams riding to the top come every 10 minutes and seat five people.

After seeing what St. Louis has to offer, the next stop is a trip to Grant's Farm. An exciting experience for the family, it rest on a 281-acre site, and features over 1000 animals from six different continents. According to the U.S. Family Travel Guide Survey, Grant's Farm ranks as the seventh-best family attraction nationwide. Admission into the park is free, but parking is a bit pricey at $11 per vehicle.

With its founding in 1997, by the well-known Bob Cassilly, the CITY MUSEUM has grown to become a popular destination for both adults and children. With the help of 20 artist and construction parts from old buildings and bridges, comes a playhouse everyone can enjoy. General admission is $12, but the price drops to $10 after 5pm on Friday and Saturday.

Time has gone by fast and it is now time to grab a bite to eat. Down in the Delmar Loop is a place known as Blueberry Hill. With its opening in 1972, it has become a landmark of St. Louis. The restaurant features pop culture memorabilia from Star Wars, the Simpsons, the Beatles, and more.

The Blueberry Hill restaurant was voted as #1 Restaurant Bar in St. Louis, and the #1 Hamburger in the area. The menu prices are cheap, but the food is great.

Following a filling meal at Blueberry Hill, comes a time of relaxing at one of America's largest urban parks, Forest Park.

The area composed of 1,293 acres is home to The St. Louis Art Museum and The Muny. The park offers a relaxing atmosphere full of entertainment and scenery.

After soaking in a calm atmosphere of art and nature, it is now time for a St. Louis Cardinals game at Busch Stadium.

Opened April 10th, 2006, Busch Stadium holds 46,000 fans and is home to the St. Louis Cardinals. After its opening in 2006, the St. Louis Cardinals became the only team in the last 100 years to win a World Series in the inaugural season of a new ballpark.

At the end of an exciting day, it is time to sit down and enjoy some frozen custard at Ted Drews.

With its first St. Louis store in 1931, it has become a popular destination of people from and visiting St. Louis.

St. Louis has a great venue of entertainment throughout the city. The city has grown during the years, but much of the entertainment in St. Louis remains the same. Places such as Busch Stadium and Forest Park, are still the places to see throughout St. Louis. St. Louis has many attractions for entertainment, and provides an amazing experience for someone looking to visit.
