A Guide to Valentine's Day Articles on Associated Content

Luke M.
It's a day to celebrate love, the love for your spouse or your significant other. In short, Valentine's Day is a day for romance. Candy hearts, love letters and paper mache are thrown around like crazy. Gifts are bought in abundance. Many speculate that Valentine's Day is just simply one more marketing tool used by major corporations.

While there are many people who celebrate this colorful and expensive holiday, there are others who celebrate Valentine's Day alone. I empathize with them. I too have not had the company with which to celebrate this very romantic holiday. But some even have been so bitter, they refuse to take part, they refuse to believe in love in any way, shape or form. I could easily be just as miserable, but I choose to keep my chin up.

I read the following articles and I began to see just how awesome Valentine's Day could be.

Men's Valentine's Day Gift Guide: The Top 5 Best Lingerie Brands by AC Producer Rachel Krech

Listed in Rachel Krech's in-depth article are five awesome gift ideas, described in full, and sold with pazzazz. Rachel Krech shows readers once again that she is very talented. It's the fastest I've ever read a three page article. I highly recommend checking it out.

Recycled Valentine's Day Crafts by AC Producer RS

Author RS has always impressed me with each article. This well-written, intriguing article is no exception. RS describes how to creat homemade crafts from anything around the house, from foil to old soup cans. You can pretty much do anything if your mind to it. This is an ideal writers like RS continue to embrace. I don't know if anyone else pulls this off as well or as consistantly as RS. I would never have thought about creating a Valentine's Day gift with a coffee can. Great work, RS.

The History of Valentine's Day by AC Producer Lee Ann S. Murphy

If you want a detailed background on Valentine's Day, there's no better article I've read than author Lee Ann S. Murphy's The History of Valentine's Day. I didn't know that there were three saints with name, Valentine. I didn't know how far back in time Valentine's Day started. This article certainly offers some ideal education on a holiday that is so often taken advantage of.

Fun Ideas for Throwing a Valentine's Day-Themed Birthday Party for a Child by AC Producer Karen Clarke

Another fun-filled article by author Karen Clarke. It's a very well-written list of ideas. Some of them may not be your cup of tea, but maybe you'll find an idea that catches your eye. Among the categories to choose from are party decorations, party invites, games and activities. Using candy hearts for playing bingo is among the niftiest ideas Karen Clarke has.

10 Valentine's Day Ideas for Single People by AC Producer Tabitha Fleming

Now for those folks who aren't lucky enough to have a significant other, this article proves to be very useful. As a single man myself, I was particularly intrigued by the idea of this article. The 10 ideas aren't numbered, but they are easy to read and understand. "Cue the Laugh Track" and "Lucky Strike" happen to be my favorite ideas. They are all fun and helpful ideas for anyone looking to have a good time.
