Angel-Hearts.org is an online site that offers an epitaph and photo of your pet memorialized with reminders of upcoming anniversaries. Chat pages, message boards, and even a people cemetery are offered. Services are free.
APetCemetery.com offers a headstone, an epitaph, a photo of your pet and allows you to add flowers and toys to the grave area. You can visit at any time and redecorate the grave site and friends and family can add their own tribute to your pet's memorial page. Message boards allow you to connect with other grieving and recovering pet owners and connect with the community. You may also print a certificate of your pet's admission into the pet cemetery once your pet's memorial is up. The site currently charges a $5 lifetime account fee which covers two free memorials and photo and video storage of your pets.
FondPetMemories.com allows you to submit a photo and memorial for cats, dogs, horses, and rabbits. You are also encouraged to send your poems for display. Unique pages are created on the site dedicated specifically to your pet. Services are free.
ILovedMyPet.com offers a unique page dedicated to your pet with a photo, memorial, a photo gallery, audio/video/file sharing, and allows friends and family to post personal notes about your beloved friend. The memorial is free for the first three months, but costs $11.00 for an additional year. The rate plans are cheaper if you purchase additional time beyond one year.
VirtualPetCemery.org has offered memorials to pets for over twelve years and currently hosts thirty-seven pet cemetery plots. These "plots" hold around twenty pet epitaphs including optional photos. This site charges a $20 fee for submitting an epitaph and photo.
Even though your pet is no longer with you, you can still hold onto the memories of its cherished life and share them with others. Visit your pet's memorial and help yourself through grieving for your lost pet with your virtual pet cemetery plot.
