There are many theme rides and water rides at Chessington. Some of these are roller coaster rides like the Vampire and Dragon's Fury. The water rides are great in the summer. Water rides, such as, Dragon Falls are fantastic fun giving a boat raft ride with many swift turns and bumpy splashes on the way. There is an observation wheel called the Peeking Heights where you can take a ride to view the whole park area from the top of the wheel. There are, also, shows during the day that are suitable for children of all ages. These are great fun to watch with lots of entertainment and laughter for everyone.

The zoo is the main event of Chessington World of Adventures. There are all kinds of animals here from lions to gorillas, monkeys, snakes and more. In 2008, a Sea Life spot was opened up in Chessington, which has a 250,000 litre aquarium housing over 20 marine displays. These fascinate children and adults, and are a popular part of the zoo area.
