Troodos has some picturesque scenic spots and this can be seen when driving along. Whilst driving you will pass beautiful villages where you can stop for a bite to eat or have a leisurely drink at one of the village's taverns. One of the villages that should be seen is Platres. This is the place to visit if you want to go skiing. It is the main village of Troodos Mountains. On entering the foot of Troodos you will, also, come to a village called Lania, which is a small pretty village that many tourists visit.

In Troodos Mountains there are some wild animals that can be seen in the area. These are wild sheep called moufflon. They have hair like dogs and goats. There are no bears, lions or tigers in Troodos mountains, but there are some dangerous snakes about.
