A Guide to Wrinkle Free Skin

Whether you are in your 20s, 30s or 40s, you can be a victim of what we are all dreading - wrinkles! It does not matter if you are the most celebrated personality in the world or you are a plain housewife, student or career woman. The fact is that we are just humans. The eternal fountain of youth does not exist, so there is nothing we can do to stop aging.

But there are certain steps that we can all do before we turn into a prune before our time. Sure everybody wants not just to feel young but to look young because whether you admit it to yourself or not, we all are inclined to some extent of giving in to vanity.

There are a thousand of beauty products and creams out there promising youth in a bottle. But, the eliminating process of which one product or brand is best for you could take years and by then, you would have added a few more lines and years to your face and body. Aside from that, you could have bought yourself a new car or the latest gadget there is with the amount of money that you have spent on beauty products alone. Another thing to consider is the existing budget that you have which prevents you from having the luxury of these so called miracle creams in the market today.

So what is it that you have to do to keep those fine lines and wrinkles away without compromising your finances? The answer is to take everything in moderation and live a healthy lifestyle. It is as simple as that.

We now live in a world, wherein we have been exposed to advertising, technology and the idea of modernism that we have all forgotten about the plain and simple truth of living a healthy lifestyle which can also be the only answer to all of our complaints on health and beauty, particularly wrinkles.

Let us talk about the facts. It is a known fact that the more bubbly and vibrant you are, the more you are prone to wrinkles. People with vivacious personalities tend to party and socialize more than others do. These activities involve a lot of laughing and smiling which leads to constant use and movement of the facial muscles.

The lines that you see when you laugh or smile can be permanent in a few years time because as people grow old, the skin loses its elasticity and firmness. The appearance of crow's feet around the eye area and laugh lines which basically speaks for itself become more and more visible as time goes by.

But this does not mean that you have to live the life of a monk by secluding yourself from the world to avoid the use of any muscle on your face. There are certain things that you can do to prevent wrinkles from appearing on your face.

Wear sunglasses every time you go out whether you are going for a walk, jogging or simply going to the mall. This will help you avoid from squinting your eyes and prevent you from having crow's feet. Next is try to develop a sleeping habit wherein you lie flat on your back. When you sleep on your side or your face flat on the pillow, you develop lines and creases over an extended period of time.

Think of it as if you are wrinkling your clothes when you have bad posture. With bad sleeping habits, you are not only wrinkling your face but your body as well..

Eat a well balanced diet with lots of antioxidants such as vitamin C and vitamin E which are both known for their skin saving powers. You can get these vitamins in tablet form or from fruits such as oranges and apples for vitamin C and vegetables such as asparagus and spinach for vitamin E. Do not smoke, drink lots of water and make sure to get at least 6-8 hours of sleep no matter how busy your schedule is.

And last, moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! It does not matter whether it be the most expensive or the cheapest brand there is in the market today. What is important is to keep your skin soft, smooth and protected from the harming effects in the environment.

You do not have to spend a fortune or go under the knife to be youthful. Have fun and follow the simple skin saving steps and your on your way to a wrinkle free skin for more years to come.
