A Haiku Poem for Those Who Love the Ocean

Whirl and Cry

Cindy Lynn
Anyone who's ever been to the beach remembers the salty tang of the sea in the air, and the sound of seagulls overhead. In fact, after that it's impossible to hear the cry of a seagull again without being transported ... at least in spirit ... back to the surf and sand.

Whirl and Cry

Gray and white seagulls
Whirl and cry in the blue sky
Talking about lunch

Lee, Delicia, Sherri and Tonya: Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting. Glad you enjoyed the imagery. Seagulls can be squawk-y garbage collectors, but they also have this oh-so-cool connection to the sea. :)
