TERROR ON 27
Neighborhood: Central Michigan
Ashley, MI 48806
United States of America
Michigan is such a beautiful state surrounded by the great lakes. Michigan provides a full array of seasons but, this is not an article about the beauty of Michigan but rather the darker side. Michigan contains Paradise as well as Hell and come Halloween time TERROR ON 27.

If you happen to come to Michigan or live here in Michigan this is one attraction to come see. It is located just outside of Ashley, on a service road of all things, (Exit US127 at M-57, turn right and follow access road 3/4 mile south, located next to Four and Twenty Blackbirds.). It is open every weekend in October and the entrance fee is $6 per person. (see website at: http://www.terroron27.com for more information)

I have been to many Thrill Houses, Haunted Dungeons, Haunted Barns, etc... What can I say I have a thing for being scared. So, last night my family and I went to this attraction not knowing what to expect and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised as was my entire family. If you are weak of constitution, (scare easily), I would not recommend this, (or if you have children DON'T wear a hooded sweatshirt lest your child chokes the life out of you), but if you enjoy the adrenalin rush this IS the place for you.

It takes about 20 minutes to get through this attraction and there are thrills around every corner. This attraction consists of all the things that go bump in the night from the pure intimidating to the borderline grotesque and all places in between. This attraction draws it's inspiration from primal fears, optical illusions, and Hollywood. There is an area in this attraction that actually upsets the stomach as it is a "TUMBLER", not at all scary but the optical illusion does make you feel as if you are moving and it is rather disorienting and makes you stumble around.

There are areas here that can lead to getting lost as it is very easy to get turned around since 80% of the attraction is PITCH BLACK. No worries since if you do get lost one of the resident ghouls are right there to help you find the proper way to go. There is not much that I can say about it without ruining it for others but it is well worth the visit and the $6 entrance fee.

At the end of this attraction there is the obligatory souvenir station that offers several articles that can be purchased to commemorate your visit and your survival of TERROR ON 27!!

Happy Halloween!!
