A Halloween Poem in Honor of Jack O. Lanter

lori beeler
Ghosts, goblins, and scary things

Goofy looking pumpkins and bats with wings

Trick or treat and candy galore

Yum, yum, give me more

Boo and woos and silly cries

Crazy costumes on gals and guys

Werewolves howling into the night

Vampires swooping to give you a fright

Trees full of skeletons and witches on brooms

Haunted houses with scary things in all rooms

Toilet paper hanging in trees and bushes

When to give out candy someone refuses

So on this Halloween just beware

That even a Halloween poem can give you a scare

BOO!
