A Halloween Wish from the Count

(Seeking the Light)

Keith Mills
When you grapple with the Darkness for a lifetime,

you become a member of that auspicious entity

and surrender yourself willingly to its embrace.

Why come out into the sunlight when the stars are

all around? Look at that brightest star and watch the couple

in the window pull the shade down and turn out the light.

Universal loneliness is no burden to bear. It's as natural as

going to bed when the sun comes up. Ask your soul this

question: What do I spend the day yearning for?

So turn out the lights and come over here to me, and maybe

I can find some Light in your eyes that will save my soul

from an eternity of emptiness, loneliness, nothingness.

But until then, I'll be content knowing you're everywhere

I go, everywhere I wish I could be-stretching forth my hand,

there is no fire. I'm sorry for that, but I just can't find any heat here.

My dear, look into my eyes and let me draw you into myself, and

perhaps I will kiss your neck, your eyes, your lips, or, perhaps,

I will Dwink Ur Blud! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
