Jeff Bauer
Everyone knows that to lose weight you must develop a healthy eating plan. It is essential to your success to adopt a healthy eating plan for weight loss. This is a simple plan to help you change your diet without feeling hungry. Make these simple changes to your diet and you will begin losing weight and keep it off for good.

Eliminate processed foods. Replace processed foods such as pizza and burgers with fresh fruits and vegetables and good carbohydrates. By eating good carbohydrates you will help to stabilize your blood sugar levels and avoid future adult onset diabetes.

Increase your fruit and vegetable intake. This is one of the most important parts of a healthy diet. Fruits and vegetables contain essential nutrients your body needs to energize you body and your mind.

Eat more lean protein. Proteins take longer to digest than other foods so you will feel full for a longer period of time. Protein is also essential to help you maintain your muscle mass, which is critical for fat loss. Get your daily protein from egg whites, fish, skinless chicken, turkey, lean organic beef, low fat yogurt and soy products.

Eat regularly beginning with breakfast each day. Breakfast should consist of fruit and fiber. Eat on a regular schedule every few hours. You will feel and function better if you eat 6 small meals per day rather than 3 large meals.

Get more good fats in your diet. Good fats help to protect against illness and supports your immune system. Good also makes your skin, hair and nails look better. The best fats to include in your healthy eating plan come from oily fish such as salmon and mackerel, sardines and herring. Using olive oil in your cooking also provides the good fats you need. Get daily servings of these good fats; take a fish oil capsule each day.

Drink lots of water everyday. Cut down or eliminate caffeine, sodas and alcohol. Drinking water, try for 2 liters per day, helps clean out your system and will make you feel full.

Eat more fiber. By simple doubling your fiber intake, the average person could lose about 10 pounds in a year. Fiber bulks up to make you feel full and helps food move through your digestive system.

Control how much you eat. A proper portion of most foods is easy to determine. Make a fist and that is about the portion size you should eat of most foods such as proteins, rice, oatmeal and other such foods. A serving of fruit is considered one of the fruit such as one apple or banana.

To help you get started at developing a healthy eating plan for weight loss, keep a journal of what you eat everyday for about a week. Then start applying the tips above to replace the harmful foods you are now eating. In a matter of a few weeks you will have completely changed the way you eat if you stick with this. You will also notice that you have lost a few pounds along the way. Now integrate an easy exercise program for weight loss into your plan. Combining a healthy food plan and exercise will increase your weight loss and make you feel better.
