Moving piece. Haiku is one of my favorite forms because its construct requires thoughtfulness in the choice of words...a bit difficult for those, like me, who tend to be verbose. I always feel sorry for people who have nobody. Did they ever love someone? Did anybody ever love them? The sorrow weighs heaviest during the holidays.
Powerful moving statement. On the other hand, there are many people with nothing who have more faith than those in warm houses surrounded by family and friends. This is powerful imagery.
