A Hometown Guy on Road Rules

So I'm browsing around the Internet checking out some of my usual websites when my buddy sends me a message on AIM. "Hey bud, guess what? My brother could be on Road Rules!" He gave me the link, along with plenty of other people he knows, and its been non stop voting ever since. As it states on the MTV website, Derek really is an All-American Boy. Originally from north eastern Pennsylvania, Derek is 23 and now lives in Jacksonville, Florida. I've never seen Derek act in a negative way, and he has always been very competitive. He was recruited by over 200 schools, an Olympic trials qualifier and a three sport athlete in college.

He is currently in the "Pit Crew" on MTV's Road Rules - Viewers Revenge 2007 and needs to be voted into the Elimination Pit Battle. Winning that battle will earn him a spot on the RV where he will partake in different missions and hopefully win the grand prize at the end of the season. Seemingly everybody in our hometown is rooting, and voting, for Derek... not to mention all his connections at colleges and universities nation wide.

His competition form the Pit Crew is quite diverse. They include a 22 year old blond surfer from Fresno, California named Jerry who keeps his mother at a distance. Another competitor is Monte, a 20 year old choreographer from Athens, Georgia. Finally we have the attention starved prankster, David, who will do anything for a laugh. David hails from Kansas City, Missouri and is also 20 years old. Derek seems to be the most athletic of the group. Although he may come off a little cocky to the casual viewer his brother would like to remind everybody not to confuse confidence with cockiness.
