A Hunter's Guide to the Graveyard in Duskwood

For a hunter, the graveyard in Duskwood can be your best friend or your worst enemy. Dangerous, aggressive mobs populate the area as far as you can see and many of them are grouped together just close enough to attack you in a horde of you try to take just one of them out. For the hunter who isn't sufficiently leveled or geared this could mean death very quickly and painfully if the proper precautions aren't taken. This guide will teach you exactly what you need to level and grind there without fear of death.

Hunters have specific advantages and disadvantages when it comes to the graveyard at Duskwood. The most important advantage for a hunter is his pet; a loyal companion that will take on all mobs in order to leave the hunter relatively unscathed. The pet is important for a couple of reasons: the first being that the pet will take on all mobs. If you should find yourself fighting more mobs that you originally thought, you will more than likely be able to escape with or without your pet. In all cases however, you should have the capability to run away from the battle and stay alive, which is the most important thing when grinding or questing. From there you will then be able to resurrect your pet and continue fighting. The second big thing about having a pet here is that if you manage your pet correctly you will be able to keep him healed to do the major amount of damage while you provide supplemental damage and heal your pet as needed. This will drastically increase your grind speed through this heavily populated area.

The second major consideration in this area is that there is one major elite mob walking around that will absolutely destroy you if you don't watch out for him. Fortunately, all elite mobs have names associated with him so if you have 'Detect Undead' on (which you absolutely should), you will be able to see him coming and move around to avoid him. In addition to this elite mob, there is another mob that is located in the farthest house from the main town outside the graveyard. Under no circumstances should you try to fight him before getting the quest that lets you weaken him. Watching out for these mobs is of utmost importance when questing or grinding here because if you somehow run into these enemies by accident then they will absolutely ruin your day.
