A Killer Execution on the Latest 13 Fear is Real

Tonight the 13 Fear is Real killer was revealed and in doing so things were sent into a tailspin. After last weeks move to a haunted fort the remaining eight players were led to a new location: a haunted school. Before the move a few of the guys decided to scare the girls during the night. The girls, along with Ted, slept right through the noise and the guys ended up freaking out themselves. They saw a light at the end of a tunnel, finding a "real" ghost as they tried to create their own. In the morning Ted had a plan to make Rodney reveal that he's the killer. Ted wanted to tell Rodney that he knows he's the killer and let Rodney reveal that he was in fact the killer. Things seemed to backfire though as Rodney disagreed, forcing Adam to turn and believe Ted was in fact the killer. I know it sounds confusing, but that's really how it came off on the show. A little further down the tunnel Cody walked alone and was told by the Mastermind to find a package and read it with the others. Inside were newspaper clippings about killed high schoolers, allowing some to make the connection of their next "haunted" location.

As night fell the players jumped on a bus and landed at the haunted school. Inside Leah, who has been surprisingly calm the entire show, began to freak out. A shrine for the six murdered students was laid out in the main hall. The challenge was to find a ring hidden in one of the classrooms. The six players to find a ring would be safe, while the losers would go to the execution ceremony. Things got even more crazy as explosions began happening around them. The school wasn't the most clean either as things were written on the walls and items were thrown all over the place. The school was more like a huge haunted house then a real "school" but it sure seemed freaky. Cody got all into things while looking for his ring as he dissected a pig's throat. He was the first to be safe while Nasser found the second while reaching into a deflated football. Inside the drama room Rodney was freaked out when a manikin came to life, forcing him to fall over. With Rodney out of the manikin room Adam was able to find the clue and gain the third key. Ted was the next to get his ring while digging in pinata intestines and Erica the next while digging into a fish. Ted helped Melyssa gain the last clue, sending Rodney to the Execution Ceremony and showing their alliance was dead. Leah was heading to the execution ceremony as well.

Ted realized that playing against the guys in the end would not be the best for him and that's why he helped Melyssa find the ring. As everyone dispersed to look around the school Nasser found himself alone. He went to find someone though, considering the killer is still out there but for how long? When the sun returned people were breaking down and Ted realized that nobody is worried about the killer. Could it be him? They were calling out the killer again, which hurt Steff last time, so it doesn't make sense why they'd call them out again. As people began exploring by themselves the killer began talking to the camera. The voice then changed from scrambled to real as Rodney revealed himself as the killer! It's crazy how well they portrayed him to be falsely accused but it seems he's ready to strike yet again. He doesn't seem too worried about being found out considering he's been the killer so long and described to us how he's played so far. He slept on the porch the knight the box was revealed and easily slipped away. He then killed off Steff simply because she was alone and to prove the killer was out there. Being on the execution block Rodney was ready to kill another before possibly going home. But the Mastermind made things a bit difficult as they were all lead downstairs in preparation for Leah's and Rodney's task.

A huge box was in the bedroom of the players and they had no clue it was part of the execution. Downstairs Leah and Rodney heard several banging sounds, and Leah freaked out about what was coming. She's upset that they were all so close and forced to send others home. As the two walked up the stairs they were blindfolded, as normal, and led to their doom. Both were laid onto a board and their arms and legs shackled to the board. Leah cried during the initial phase and it was obvious torture was going to play a role. Swinging above them was pendulum, ala the pit and the pendulum. They had to release themselves from the shackles and cut their ropes first to remain safe while the other was killed off. Rodney was off to an early lead as Leah had trouble remove any of the ties on her wrist. She was able to slip her arms through the rope thing and grabbed the scissors, freeing herself first and sending the killer out of the game. Rodney actually broke his tooth while biting through the cable, going through so much pain for a losing situation. I'm shocked that Leah actually pulled through considering she was having trouble at the start. She took out the killer, that's a big deal, but Rodney didn't reveal anything in his execution tape. Some still believed him to be the killer though but oh were they wrong. Things quickly changed though as it was time for the players to move yet again. The Mastermind said they were going to the worst place yet and after tonight's episode I fully believe him!
