A Layman's Theories On The Aftermath Of God's War

Rudy C. Granados
Some of this may be hard to accept, maybe even all of it. Can it be possible if seen in the light of both religion and science? It is like the old story of two people meeting, each with half of an interlocking pendant around their necks. The only markings on the pendants are fragmented words of no meaning. They are strangers, but each notice that their pendants are similar. They then take their pendants and place them together, finding new meaning in the previously unknown writing. The intention is not to attack each institution. The intent is to propose that both sides rethink the possibility of each other's views, not to challenge them, but to consider that the other may also be correct. Upon reaching this cooperation, the story will emerge on its own with the combination of scientific knowledge, and historical religion to serve as a guide. So, are these the facts? No, of course not, it is only a theory. I will also not speculate on the exact technical methods of how this all occurred. A layman does not have the capacity and knowledge to theorize on technology without at least some research. The technical know how is left for the experts to determine how it may have been done. A layman sees it from another perspective, not from the isolation of scientific or theologian eyes, but from eyes of those who live with the results of their doctrines. Lightning or firestorms have not erupted by speaking such thoughts, nor has this turned scientific knowledge upside down. Simply by placing both science and religion together, we have something new to consider, and it may even make more sense. The purpose of these articles is only to encourage a forum so that both sides may consider the theory. With their expertise and knowledge, I am hopeful that they will agree, or at least together can come up with some of their own. This is also not some great revelation I am beholding to anyone. The idea has always been around. There are literally hundreds proposing the same theory. Unfortunately, most speculation about this theory get bogged down in specifics of technical probability, or anthropological details. A god, human hero or civilization fighting a great battle in the world somewhere is only a fragment of the complete story. Yes, the stories are interesting, with many things to learn from them, and we are fortunate that there are people who do the research. Without them, the story is incomplete. For me, this is more about the overall picture, from beginning to present. The proverbial question, what does it all mean? The logical answer lies in what was important to the creators.

In the aftermath of a great catastrophe endangering all living creatures on earth, there is an account in ancient texts of how a single human family manages to survive the upheaval. The familiar story tells of how a beneficial God helps and instructs this family, helping them to help themselves. By obeying God's instructions, did a single family of humans survive and repopulate the entire planet? It is the reason why this legend is so difficult to believe. How could Noah and his family be the parents of an entire population in every part of the world? Humans are definitely not all one color. Was each family member of different ethnicity? Even if this were so, who would they mate with to sustain their race? Finally, how much time would it take to repopulate humans on different continents? We like sex, but this hardly seems possible. There are enough gaping holes in the story it becomes easy for science to logically dismiss it with their reasoning. Unfortunately for science, the same ancient story has many variations around the world, too similar for chance coincidence. Both sides must compromise. For religion, can they accept human creation taking place around 202,000 years ago, and the biblical flood happened sometime before the Neolithic Age? It would be enough time for human creation, and another human society to exist. Remember, according to religion, there was a previous civilization deserving punishment from God. Like it or not, religious texts indicate that there was another human civilization before the catastrophe. They would have needed time to evolve, and grow into the despicable societies deserving this punishment. On the scientific side, this may help to explain the masses of wild humans roaming around for 190,000 years. Uncivilized and primitive as they would have been, they may be the ideal candidates that digressed and deserved God's punishment.

Whether it was God's punishment, a worldwide natural disaster, or one caused by an advanced race, the event probably happened after human creation, and before the Neolithic Age. The exact date of the disaster is open to speculation, but taking into account that another human civilization may have existed, it points closer to the dawn of humans' cultural explosion. Science may be willing to accept this scenario. If we are to take the biblical flood and other similar legends seriously, we must first accept that a single family could not be capable of replenishing the worldwide human population. We must also accept that people in the bible were not the only ones around to experience legends such as these. The major religions have roots in other more ancient cultures, so other civilizations may have experienced the same events. So let us at least agree that these various ancient stories are true, just in a different sense. Maybe Noah and his family were not the only humans to survive the calamity. There are many ancient myths around the globe implying similar flood/catastrophe stories. Is it possible Noah's family was one of many chosen and instructed on how to survive? If major religions believe that God helped Noah, will they accept that He is compassionate enough to lend aide to others outside of their realm? There could have been many groups of humans saved in different parts of the world. This helps to explain humans' quick recovery from the disaster. Whatever the catastrophe may have been, the land would need time to recover, and humans would need time to repopulate. If the colonists' DNA played a part in humans' longevity, the first survivors would live for several hundred years. Think about that for a moment. A single couple could produce a multitude of offspring, each child having considerable life spans to produce more. If flood survivors were in groups of four or more human couples, the numbers escalate. Whether it was one family or a hundred, it seems they had enough humans to work with. The victors may have even increased capacity in human reproduction. Even if they relied on the old fashioned way, humans are always enthusiastically up for the challenge. For an immortal, it would take no time at all to replenish their numbers. In any event, it appears that there are enough humans to share with their enemies as well.

Taking all this into account, here is the scenario. The advanced race that created humans had a war between them. Even having won the war, the victorious decide to leave the planet in the aftermath. Earth is to serve as a prison for their evil enemies, as well as a refuge for the beings they have created. Having grown fond of these humans, they decide to teach humans their laws and beliefs while they prepare for the evacuation. At this time their intentions and expectations of humans appears to have changed. Instead of just simple servants and laborers, humans are to be creatures capable of controlling their own destiny. They no longer leave the humans roaming about aimlessly. Consider it from their perspective. By now, there are thousands of these thinking creatures running around, only making more. They could be a danger to themselves, and each other in the future. Especially since humans will be left to the influence of their enemies, who will be living among them. Judging from what our ancient documents attest, they implement an education in proper conduct. Besides teaching humans self-sufficiency, specific guidelines on how we are to behave with one another is also included. Since all religions teach of the same love and peace, the educational program appears to have been a global effort on their part. A perplexing question emerges from all of this. Why should we take their word for it? Judging by what ancient mythology tells us, these people have ego and greed, they lie and cheat, with envy and selfishness, to deceive and oppose, then kill and war with each other. Who are they to tell us how to live life? Their doctrine is in complete opposite of what they actually did, just like us.

Wait! Just like us. Two reasons for this conflict in ideals are possible. One may be that their message is to warn us not to be like them, to learn from their mistakes. That could be part of it, but what if they had never experienced emotions such as these. Maybe the situation of being stranded on a planet, for whatever reason, did something to their psyche. Ancient writings indicate that these people were immortal or at least lived for many centuries. This would lead one to believe that their society was very old. Their culture may have overcome such primitive instincts many thousands of generations before they had arrived. Now they were in solitude and isolated, worshipped, and idolized by the very beings they created. It may have been too much for some to withstand. Try to imagine what they experienced. To simply shoot a small hand weapon into the sky would bring awe and fear into these ignorant humans. The humans bowed and worshipped them wherever they went. Idols made in their own images. Above all, they were the ones who created humans. Even if an individual did not have a hand in the creation, each one of them reaped the fringe benefits from it. That is a lot of power to hold in your hand. With even the slightest character weakness, a person could transform from a simple colonist doing their job, to a dominating self-important overlord. Was this their intention in the first place, to make us slaves? This is probably not the case, at least for the victorious ones anyway. Why bother teaching us to live good if they live in slothfulness? No, it was probably not their intention to be gods when they arrived. But if they could not repopulate their own kind, created humans out of necessity, and left to their own devices on a far away planet, some may have come to decide for their own benefit. The mission may have become unimportant to them, preferring their new roles as glorious benefactors. There might have been those that fell to such self-important temptations, but it would only take one to persuade them.

This is the basic Judaic and Gentile thought anyway. In their legends, Lucifer begins his evil doings immediately upon the moment of creation. One person that causes havoc, everywhere he goes. Each side of war must have a leader. Whether he himself appeared to humans, or some representative, their colony must have only had one leader. Therefore, the side challenging this authority had a leader too. As usual in all wars, theirs was probably over power and control. The concept of Lucifer has many names around the world, but it will suffice for our purposes right now. The name is more familiar to most anyway. I will go far as saying Lucifer being there in the beginning, and that he is an evil influence, but just like God, he cannot be everywhere tormenting each one of us at all times. First, let us consider Lucifer influencing others in his colony. Just like a pyramid scheme, he convinces others to buy into his view. He tells them they need a new leader not so obsessed with the rules. The tools are his beauty, charm, and fawning over others that can benefit his agenda. The tactics are to convince them of their self-importance and acknowledgement they deserve. The rewards are comfort, convenience and individualism. Lucifer's actual agenda is to have others do his bidding, to network. In any event, Lucifer apparently influences enough colony members to challenge their leader. If they battled as described in ancient texts, they probably used advanced weaponry and vehicles. Maybe Lucifer managed to persuade a few in the military over to his side. In any event, this is not enough to achieve victory. Lucifer and his remaining people's punishment is imprisonment on earth among their created humans, something that he may have wanted in the first place. With each of his trained salespeople, Lucifer can easily influence these sub-creatures to do his every whim. His intention may even be to one day, hunt down his former comrades before help arrives. Lucifer does not have to do this alone. There are others with him. By now, his followers may be scattered all around the globe, spreading his influence.

Does this not sound like the Lucifer most of us know and hate? He may have other names around the globe, but he is the same corruption of good in any language. We must remember though, he is probably not the only one of the victors' enemies roaming around. Whatever his name is he is their leader, which would mean that they are probably organized and have an agenda. Before we start pointing to the Big Seven, Illuminati or any guild, let us take a deep breath. It does not make a difference. The important idea is that their influence may be all around without us even knowing it. They probably have a specific intention for humans. It could be to continue serving their every desire in their imprisonment, but consider that his followers may not have possessed the skills and knowledge of technicians and scientists. Stripped of any critical technology, they would have been at a loss. Their plan may be to wait for natural evolution to run its course. A point when humans can get them off this planet. Eventually we will achieve what is necessary. Maybe even Lucifer's intention is for us to follow him into battle against his old enemy, an uncomforting thought if such is the case.
