In the early stages, they probably interacted face to face with humans as a team. The teams would move from group to group, stay for a short time, and help them get started. With lessons learned, they would depart while the humans practiced their new skill. The team then moves on and recruits or tends to another group of humans. Eventually each team would have several communities on their schedules, periodically visiting them to update their lessons. With self-sufficiency mastered, fewer team members would be required. They may have assigned one to supervise while the rest moved on to other groups. As more concepts are learned, human villages grow into cities, and self-governed civilizations begin to emerge. Close contact with humans is not necessary anymore, so the lessons are less frequent, and now taught from a distance. As time goes on, they down size the program, and instructors reassigned to other duties. Each of the few instructors left now manage several societies of humans around the globe. Several instructors were likely assigned to educate the South American humans when things started settling down. Since the victors' arrival in the west, it is probable that excess humans periodically strayed, wandering to the north and south. In any event, the humans remaining in the area would be fast learners because of their close interaction with the colonists. Applying their education, the future South American cultures slowly begin to organize. Judging by how these civilizations eventually evolved, there may have even been some military influence on them.
This might have been the scenario on earth around 5,000 years ago, when the first great eastern civilizations begin to rise. They will still have help along the way. There will be many legends written about the instructors' extracurricular activities. Educators sometimes get involved when the situation calls for it. Interaction with humans rarely happens anymore, and any contact is now from a distance. By now, eastern humans are worshiping many layers of previous contact with their brethren and enemies. A few of the older cultures are declining, and new civilizations are quickly rising. With the victors' help, along with help from their enemies', humans have already built great cities and societies. The few instructors left are scrambling to get final lessons taught. In the future, some may even go back to visit and help occasionally, but time is running out as things in the west are progressing. Preparations to leave earth are almost complete. The research and development phase would likely be over, and construction of their new living accommodations on the other planet may already be in progress. If everything is on schedule, workers on the new planet could be in final construction phase. Humans probably assisted in constructing living accommodations on the western continent. Therefore, it would be fair to assume that they transported humans to help on the other planet. A few might even stay when construction is complete.
While construction is nearing completion, the victors' prepare to leave. Finally, the day arrives and their new home is ready. Nonessential humans return to earth, and the evacuation period begins. Unless residential and other buildings were already constructed, they would be the first things to go. They might have required assembly upon reaching their destination. They may, or may not, have biologically altered vegetation and livestock for the new environment. Either way, these commodities were probably next to transport, in order to acclimate. There may be a period of waiting for the living environment to take effect before continuing, to be sure their research and development was successful. With positive results, equipment and vehicles not needed on earth would go next, then any remaining equipment and supplies. Personal items would have gone with the last of these shipments. It is now time for the colonists themselves to evacuate. For inspiration and comfort, their leader may have been among the first to leave. This would ease the colonists' concerns, as their leader's face would be the first they see, welcoming all to their new home. The whole evacuation process could have taken centuries, especially considering the possibility that they may not have wanted their enemies knowing about it. As more colonists leave, their temporary living arrangements on earth are beginning to look empty. Eventually only a few civilians remain on the planet with the military. The military will probably be the last to leave. Maybe these remaining civilians are the last instructors. By now, at least two great civilizations have fallen in the east, and new ones have risen in their void. There is a variety of societies, all vying for domination in their general areas. The weaker ones are usually conquered and absorbed. Either way, they received assistance in one way or another by the victors or their enemies. In some instances, instructors develop a close and personal attachment to humans. They will occasionally visit their friends from time to time, but humans rarely see educators anymore.
Suppose that a group of humans were dominating over another, and further suppose that the dominated ones are receiving instruction by a lone educator. At this point, time is short for the educator, and he would want to resolve the issue quickly. The instructor decides to help the humans out of bondage, and lead them to another location. There the humans will build a society guided by their curriculum. He will make this his last assignment before leaving. The trouble is that they worship too many idols, remnant memories of his friends now transported to another planet. Some idols they worship are of their enemies, so this will not be an easy task. The plan is simple. Getting the humans out of their predicament requires that they abandon their now useless idols, and listen only to him. For safety purposes, he must also limit his involvement, because their enemies are close by. To move things along he accepts their need to worship something and assumes the role, but will only appear to one human. Whether he chose a burning bush to represent him, or just appeared in his normal form does not matter, because the general idea is that one 'god' will guide the humans. With the instructor's aide, this human will lead the others out of their slavery. The details of how the instructor helped the humans to do this, I will leave for others to debate. The important thing is that they ultimately accomplished escaping from bondage with help from their god, according to legend. The educator then leads the humans away from their captors, and into the wilderness. The plan would have been easier to implement if it were not for the occasional dissention along the way. Humans usually revert to primitive emotions in extreme situations, blaming others when things get rough. It was probably a common thing to contend with for an instructor.
At one point, he grows weary of their lapses and brings them near a mountain to stay for a while. He then summons their human leader in a thunderous voice. Apparently, the situation calls for some attitude adjustment. The instructor intends to be leaving earth soon and desires to move things along, so he gives the human written instructions of basic laws they are to follow. Christians believe there are ten. Judaic belief acknowledges that there were more. In any case, he entrusts these instructions to the human, in case he must leave before they reach their destination. Looking down on the other humans he sees that they are once again degenerating back to their old ways. He calls their leader's attention to this and in frustration, scolds the human for his followers' quick descent. The instructor then sends the human back down to rectify the situation, hoping for the best. Oops. Maybe the human should have left the instructions there, because upon his return he destroys part of them in anger. Eventually the leader manages to restore order. Afterwards, the instructor watches the human sheepishly climb back up the mountainside. At this point, the educator must have had second thoughts about these humans. Nevertheless, he rewrites the instructions once again. Mistakes like this are common during their journey. In one instance, the instructor is infuriated at the leader for using a power without permission. As written, the issue was over water. Whatever the reason was, it appears that the instructor was growing frustrated with the humans' progression.
Maybe it had more to do with evolutionary expectations. The humans frequently faltered during their time in the wilderness. Perhaps the instructor realized that this particular generation of humans did not meet acceptable criteria. They had previous influence by other sources. In spite of this, he did not lose hope. Adapting to the situation, the teacher decides to wait it out. In other words, he needs to weed out the bad from good. The group drudges on, waiting for the old to die off, and reliable ones to emerge. Through trial and effort, the next generation finally reaches their destination. In the biblical story, Moses lives for almost two hundred years. Earlier we discussed the possibility of this longevity in a previous installment. I proposed that the immediate effect of mixing the colonists' DNA with humans could have caused longer lives. As generations interbred, life spans decreased unless supplemented. Could Moses have received a dose of colonist DNA? It would explain why he was apparently the only one of the original escapees, able to live long enough until reaching their destination. Surely, there were others in the group who were younger than Moses was. Another hint that DNA modification may have happened is his hair color after his first meetings with God on the mountain. As written, his hair gradually turns white with each meeting. Was this a result from the modification?
In any event, the legend tells us that Moses dies and is buried in an unknown place. Could it be that the instructor decided to take the human leader with him as a reward? He may have even wanted to take the human with him to their new home. The human's followers then go on to build a new civilization in their new land. So, is this an acceptable explanation of the Hebrew god? Nothing really changes. It only removes the legend from its mystical realm to a scientific possibility. Historically, there are tantalizing hints in archeology to validate these historical events. Unfortunately, the only real evidence and documentation is in the ancient texts. These second hand accounts make more sense if we explain them from modern perspectives. I do not consider this blasphemous because the story and meaning of it remains intact.
Getting back to the plight of the victorious colonists, on the western continent the victor's military is all that remains. By now, their fellow victorious colonists are acclimating to their new environment. The instructors and military personnel sorely miss being with their own kind. The world is slowly becoming a violent and dangerous place, but they did all they could. It is up to the humans now. What exact year they left is open for discussion, but the ancient manuscripts indicate that this is what they did. Whether they live on another planet or go back home, they leave earth to their enemies and the humans. Before departing, they assure us that they will return with help, to reestablish the colony on their terms. Their hope may ultimately lie in our education. They might have even expected us to contain their defeated enemies in some way. It would have required that humans resist the temptations inflicted on us by a clever and charming adversary. Ultimately the decision of what to do with humans may depend on how we have reacted to this influence. How well have we done? Unfortunately, we will not know how they feel about that until they return.
