A Layman's Theories On Humans and God Coexisting

Rudy C. Granados
I hope this does not all sound like whimsical nonsense, and is at least somewhat plausible. Whatever it is that you believe this may be a way of explaining things for both sides. Continuing with the theory, we arrive at the possibility of coexistence with our creators. During 199,000 years until humans build the first great civilizations, was there a more powerful race living amongst us? If they did create us, it would not appear that we were of much interest to them after this amazing feat. Did the appeal fade away like a new toy? I for one do not think humans were merely toys to them. Did they create humans in order to serve them? This is more plausible, but judging from their teachings, I would like to think that it was not a master/slave type of relationship. If service and labor were the reasons, how many humans would they need to sufficiently fulfill the task? Religion and scientific theory can coexist here as well. If we accept the current timetable, it goes something like this. For 190,000 years, humans were wandering around surviving any way they could after creation. This means we can also accept that ancient myths and legends had plenty of time to occur during the interim. Humans may have lived nearby and even interacted with these people, but most probably left to fend for themselves. Many ancient stories indicate that gods were immortals, or lived for thousands of years. If this were a colony plagued with infertility, and resorted to creating humans to supplement their numbers, they would not have to make very many of their creations to fill the need. If they limited our attainable age, natural reproduction would have been the means to keep up a good supply. In fact, it is quite possible that humans' enthusiasm for the act created more than were needed. Maybe we became so numerous that many of the continually breeding humans were 'let out to pasture' for 190,000 years.

In any case, the humans interacting with 'gods' leave us with intriguing stories of how they lived. Most ancient myths are from a third-person narration, as if watched from a distance, like a servant. Outside the walls, we read descriptions of their exploits in the same way, maybe from a laborer or attendant standing close by. It is from the human's perspective, the insignificant bystander who watches the story unfold. The more probable reality is that humans' creation was necessary in aiding them to sustain their colony. We were probably nothing more than supplemental help to them, at least in the beginning. This would account for our absence in early ancient stories, and the great majority of other humans wandering around for 190,000 years. What took place to end their reign and teach humans the things they taught us? For it is in all likelihood that they did teach us. Many legends speak of great wars taking place between the gods. Familiar names like Apollo, Athena, Michael, Gabriel, Satan and other less familiar ones come to mind. We imagine them battling in epic struggles between good and evil, shooting bolts of lightening and flying in chariots. Some say that these weapons of war could be spaceships and laser guns. This is for the experts to debate. The important thing to remember is that these similar stories around the world indicate there was an apparent division amongst the people of their colony. How can this be? Hate and war are supposedly human characteristics that we inherited from nature. Gods are perfect, why would they succumb to the greed, violence and selfishness of primitive beings? This would require further examination, but is not the point right now. For whatever reason caused the split among their people, the war may reveal a reason why they ultimately decided to leave this planet. If you can really accept that they were here, look around. Are they here now? They definitely left the planet, or at least most of them did. If their war had reached its climax, it may have occurred sometime before humans' cultural emergence 12,000 years ago.

According to evolution, this is when humans suddenly begin to mass into civilizations in different parts of the world. They build fragile huts out of available materials and create communities. They farm and domesticate animals. We are to believe humans slowly learned these skills from 190,000 years of trial and error, and just like that, these disconnected societies simultaneously all got it at once. True, each had their various levels of advancements, but it is interesting to note that they all began to build civilizations close to the same time. Not that a variance of a thousand years or so is a short amount of time, still we wonder why each of the major civilizations began in almost the same year according to the timetable. Think about it, from individual caves to building communities of huts, from hunting/gathering when hungry to farming, raising animals and storing food. Every life changing skill equally distributed among each society simultaneously, hundreds of miles apart from each other. How can this be? Is it possible that they taught these skills to humans after a climatic war between the gods, as myths tell us? It correlates with everything so far. So, who won the war? Which side left and which side stayed? The result may help to understand the sudden change in human evolution. Did the side of righteousness and good prevail? Did the good victors stay on earth to continue their mission? Looking at the mess of things around the globe today, it does not give that scenario much hope. Was the side of right and justice defeated, exiled off the planet? This is probably not the case either. If the good were defeated after the war, they would not have time to instruct humans. Their enemies would have promptly evicted them.

The answer in all legends is that the good was indeed victorious and defeated evil. So why leave the planet to the defeated? There are many possibilities as to why this may have occurred. For one, they could have damaged the planet in their war. According to science, millions of years ago the separate islands on earth were once one big continent. Meteors may have occasionally collided with the planet, damaging it. At some point in time, the continental plate broke up into parts and drifted to their present locations. This could very well be, and we live with the damage that caused it to this day. The earth is a fragile planet. An egg if you will, with a very cracked shell. Now according to a wide variety of ancient manuscripts, a natural catastrophe of some kind threatens humankind. The most popular version tells us that God sets aside a few humans and shows them how to survive the coming disaster. This brings up a question. In regards to these global legends involving human survival, were they natural disasters, or caused by their war? Think of the destructive power these people held in their hands, and the damage it could have caused if they decided to use it in anger. A war of magnitude we can only imagine could be destructive enough to cause great stress on cracks in the planet, maybe even enough for it to self-implode. They may have even had to evacuate the earth's surface for a time to let the planet heal itself. If they damaged the planet in war and had to wait it out until earth could stabilize, any humans still down there most likely would have to survive on their own. It could explain the many myths about floods or disasters, and God's eventual aide in human survival. The story of Noah quickly comes to mind.

As a result, the survivors of each side would have to cooperate for this to happen. With no place to go, they had to. Could they have reached a truce of some kind to get through the situation? Whether they temporarily evacuated for a time, or stayed in a safe place on the planet, they may have waited for the earth to heal before they could decide what to do next. In the aftermath, they may have returned to the surface and negotiated terms on which to coexist. However many humans were left may have been distributed among them. For whatever reason, the good and victorious side may have initially decided to leave the planet at this time. Why did they not just leave in the first place? Again, they may have had no place to go. Referring to religious texts, the victors do indeed leave earth. This could mean their rescue or rendezvous time may have finally arrived, but maybe not. They could have chosen a location within a reachable destination. Could they have chosen a place within our solar system? This is possible, or maybe it was somewhere in the outer reaches of our galaxy. So far, we know there are no planets close by that are desirable to live on as earth. This is probably the fundamental reasoning behind choosing our planet in the first place. As undesirable an idea it may seem, the victors could have decided to create an artificial environment on a less hospitable planet. Why go to all this trouble if they were the victorious ones? Why did they not just imprison their defeated foes on the miserable outpost? It may sound logical, but apparently, this is not what they did. Instead, they appear to have made the earth their enemies' prison. Why would they leave the comforts of our planet to their enemies? There can only be one simple reason, the human beings that they created. Even with the catastrophe that their war created, humans quickly recovered with our enthusiasm in sexual pleasure. Soon we would undoubtedly grow to uncontrollable numbers again. Out of necessity our creation may have occurred, but now what do they do with us? There were too many of us to take along, and they never needed that many to begin with. A few were still required, so extermination was detrimental to their mission, and most likely was morally out of the question.

For they appear to have grown fond of humans, almost as if they cared about us too much to terminate us. Compassion and understanding is a notable trait that the victors have. The reason for their departure may have been simply a matter of parental attachment. They may have even felt responsible for their creations' welfare. In fact, they did not have the heart to completely exterminate their former comrades. It would mean the killing of their now dwindling precious race. Add in another race of beings, that did not ask for creation, and you can see the dilemma. In compassion, they apparently decided to make themselves the exiled ones and left the planet to reorganize. Though victorious, it ultimately could have been a moral decision for them. Why did they not stay and somehow coexist with their enemies? Maybe the threat of another war, and the depleting populous that result from it was at stake. By now their numbers must have been fewer, and without the ability to rejuvenate it with new blood they may have not wanted to risk another war. Does it matter where they went? This is not very important. When assistance arrives, we can be sure to see them again. What is important to remember is, this may be the moment after 190,000 years of wandering, when humans began to congregate and establish communities. This could have been a time of great learning and interaction with the victorious ones, the moment ancient legends begin focusing on us. The same moment we reached the Neolithic age.

Evacuating the earth must have taken time to prepare for. Maybe even research and testing new living environments was required. It would also be awhile before they could build their new homes, so they had some time. Feeling responsible for humans that were multiplying by the minute, they may have decided to teach their laws and beliefs as guidance for humans as they prepared to leave earth. The purpose could have been that they desired to coexist with humans one day, under specifically established criteria of course. This is the belief of all religions anyway, but what did they do about their former enemies? If actually seen through religious eyes, it would mean that earth is hell. The enemy was 'cast down', or made prisoner on earth, so welcome to hell. This is not to take make light of the point, only to note that their enemies may have been here since then and always, to this day. Where they placed in a fiery pit until the humans were ready? This is probably not the case. Being defeated, they were obviously not powerful enough to be an immediate threat. They could have easily been contained in a high security area until humans' transitional period was over. Maybe, but the numbers that would be required to watch over them day and night may have proven unrealistic. While they could contain their enemies, perhaps they relocated them to an out of the way place on earth, no doubt stripping their foes of any critical technology. Eventually their enemies would reorganize and create the needed technology some day, but this would buy enough time to prepare for evacuation and commence with educating humans.

This opens another question that we will examine later on. Where did the victors go while they prepared? South American civilizations are supposed to have been poking around four thousand years after the European Neolithic age. Could the victors have relocated to the Americas in final preparation? In any event, according to the timetable they would have begun the human instructional period around 10,000 years ago on the European side of the world. This could help to explain the singular god. By now there could have been humans scattered about everywhere. Educating us would not be an easy task for one person. Yet teaching everything from agriculture to social cohabitation, to every group of humans is quite an undertaking. It may have required a whole host of them to spread the word. Some humans would be easy, by their previously close association with them. Others would be more of a challenge. Some humans no doubt were in territories left to their enemies. These humans would also need instructing. During the next seven thousand years, they would prepare us, as well as themselves. To make things easier humans would need to know of only one authority in any particular place they were teaching. Other influences were probably around. Some of their former comrades enjoyed having humans worship them as gods. They still cling to their roles of beneficiaries and idol worship. Their former comrades may have even perceived humans as a useful way out of their situation. The victors had their hands full.

With so much territory to cover, it appears that they opted to assign educators responsible for certain areas. The God of Moses, Buddha, Mohamed, Jesus, and many others could have been these educators at various points in time. The lessons were the same for humans in every part of the world. Moving to the other side of the globe may have also been useful for the victors in keeping their enemies unaware of their intentions. They would no doubt bring humans along, because there was always a need for human help. New cultures would eventually emerge from these humans. After about seven thousand years, the victors may have been in their final stages of preparation. Some may have already been transported to their new self-imposed home. A few of them may have remained to complete any last minute details. Many educators were probably gone by now, so only a few remained to hurriedly finish out their assignments. Singular god methods may have become the norm. Then they left, leaving us to fend for ourselves with our new knowledge, in hopes that someday we will obey their teachings. They left us with their enemies too. Free to affect us in any way they wish. Perhaps the victors' intention for their instructions was to prepare humans, for the temptations they knew their enemies would eventually befall on us. Whether you accept any of this theory or not, humankind still understands the concept of good and evil, right and wrong, justice and fairness. Specific definitions vary among us, but every human civilizations founded, is based on some form of religion or belief. The purpose for humans and their intentions for us are there in the writing, whichever book you read. Humans possibly may have coexisted with gods, and the most important thing they decided to leave us before they left was these beliefs and ideals. If these instructions were important to them, should they not be important to us?
