A Lebron-Cleveland Breakup Would Be Tough

Jacob Horn
If Lebron does indeed bolt for Miami or any other town for that matter, Cleveland will become obsolete in a matter of seconds. Because of Lebron, Cleveland enjoyed being one of the top NBA teams for the past 5 years. Before Lebron, a lot of people did not even know there was a town named Cleveland, nevertheless that they had a basketball team. Okay, that may be a stretch but you get my point. A Lebron and Cleveland break up would be hard to watch. Not considering the Cavs, Cleveland has been one of the most miserable sports cities of this past decade. Their baseball and football team may have made the playoffs once this decade but outside of that the closest they have been to playoffs in any sport not basketball has been about as close as BP is to stopping the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico.

If you think Jen and Brad was hard. If you think Ryan and Reese was hard. If you think Jake and Vienna was hard. Just wait. Lebron and Cleveland will be horrible. The depression that will sweep the town of Cleveland will be hard to watch especially when they go after other superstars who have no interest in joining their once great NBA city.
