A less than perfect head
Is attached?
Almost perfect,
But not quite,
We may think.
Is this
Where the flaw began?
Surely it wasn't I,
We sing,
That released
Miscalculated thoughts.
Someone else
Must have caused it,
The flaw of my faults.
Now surely
It is settled.
Someone else meddled
With thoughts in our mind.
An almost perfect head,
Perhaps,
Just listened
At the wrong time
To inaccurate suggestions,
And so,
We were inclined.

Post a Commentexcellent work - thanks very much:)
Great poem...blaming others, yes, we have all done it. :-)
At least we aren't judged by head size any more:)
we are all different in our own way and no one should be judged by anyone other than the Lord
Wisdom...:0)
We're only human after all.
I enjoyed this one. Our thoughts do get affected by misinformation!
Perfection is SUCH an elusive notion.... My own misshapen head (inside and out) is who I am :-}
Clever :)
I guess we're all inclined on occasion:)
