A Lesson of Casual Friends

A.M. Morgan
Wishing for another outcome

Reality sets in

We lost an opportunity to become better friends

Wish that time would grant us a second chance

Can't say that neither of us was unaware of the misleading circumstances

Communication was slow instead superficial emotions overflowed

Our last encounter became a cold winter despite the sun's glow

Probability says that this is truly the end

It's too bad we could only hope for the best as casual friends

Making friends can be tough, and if a moment passes, it can truly be gone, great point
