A Letter to Republican Politicians About Stealing from the People and Other Forms of Iniquity

The 8th commandment states, "YOU SHALL NOT STEAL!"

When you reduce tax on the rich, and add tax to the poor, YOU ARE STEALING!

When you cut funding to the schools, YOU ARE STEALING!

When you direct funding to useless projects, YOU ARE STEALING!

Psalm 49:12 But man in his pomp will not endure;
He is like the beasts that perish.
13 This is the way of those who are foolish,
And of those after them who approve their words. perish

You are people so offended by the lie but condone and practice the lie through faulty generalization, loudly stating insignificant points because they have no strength on the main point.

You appeal to cultural and racial fears with manufactured stories without any evidence to support it.

You demand 100% guarantees and standards of others which you have already proven to be incapable of.

You appeal to "family values" which you can't define. You raise endless objections to any proposal; you negativists. You are the obstructionist you accused the Democrats of being. Now, you have become and perfected obstructionism and negativism.

You are manipulators who will only use enough truth to create the illusion of the whole truth of their assertions.

You are demagogues whose only option is to distort solid facts with deceptive metaphor and innuendo with cultural or racial overtones.

So many of you are willing to damage their nation for their ideology yet have the gall to themselves patriots. Along with your talking bobbleheads, you have nothing but negativity to offer the country.

They have degraded themselves so low that the Christian Right doesn't even come out loudly to support you as they did in the past.

You are warmongers who would willingly provoke war to subsidize the war industry with trillions of dollars but squawk like banshees for a 100 million for education for the poor or for decent health care so desired by MOST of the nation.

You have become whores to the insurance industry; lusting after the dollar that leeched from those who need it.

The Republican Party is now a party for the dollar, by the dollar. Try for the people; by the people, it's honorable and respectable.
