A List Poem; My Car is Going to Drive Me Insane
Because it takes so long to warm up
Because there's a new noise every time I start the engine
Because the maintenance seems to get more expensive all the time
Because I'm forever filling up the tank
Because the brakes squeak or grind every time I step on pedal
Because my serpentine belt needs to be replaced
Because the knuckle joints need to be replaced
Because the more money I sink into it means the less money I can save for a new one.
