1951 The Yankees won their third straight defeating the New York Giants.

1952 The Yankees won their fourth straight defeating the Brooklyn Dodgers.

1990s

1999 New York defeated the Atlanta Braves to win the World Championship.

2000s

2000 The Yankees would win their third straight series defeating their cross town rivals the New York Mets.

2009 The New York Yankees defeated the 2008 Champion Philadelphia Phillies.
