I decided to bath my dog in the pit
Packed a towel, shampoo and my knife
Since there are many animals around here
Long walk to the pit
Blisters on my feet
Just to find the fenced it up again
Walked another mile to the next lake
Cooled my aching feet
Washed my sickly dog
Then turned back to walk home
My feet killed, my bad hip started throbbing
It was a much further a walk than anticipated
I tried to thumb a ride
But apparently that's a dead art
I limped my way home
Since I forgot my phone
Fortunately didn't run into any unruly critters
Or for that matter an unfriendly people
What a walk...

Post a CommentOn my planet "anima;s" means animals. Pardon my character disorder. LOL!
...and you had that quality time with your dog. Good thing the "anima;s" left you alone.
Wow, that was a long walk...
