Classic Nineties Sitcom #1: Boy Meets World
Boy Meets World was a part of the Friday night lineup on ABC, TGI Friday. It followed Cory Matthews as he grew up from age eleven to college, throughout seven seasons, with his misunderstood best friend Shawn and complicated girlfriend Topanga. He received guidance from his high school principal and next-door neighbor George Feeny. This show added a spice of humor and knowledge of life lessons, family difficulties, bullies, and crazy adventures.
Classic Nineties Sitcom #2: Friends
With several group dynamics, these Friends experience life in New York City throughout ten memorable seasons. The group was composed of Monica the neat freak chef, Chandler the hilarious wise crack, Joey the not-so-smart actor, Ross the intelligent paleontologist, Rachel the shopaholic daddy's girl, and Phoebe the eccentric hippy. This classic nineties comedy made a huge cultural impact, even causing some to get "the Rachel" haircut.
Classic Nineties Sitcom #3: Saved By the Bell
Saved By the Bell was a show that chronicled the lives of several high school students at Bayside High. The jocks and nerds taught viewers about the trials of high school and exactly how to face them. Not only is this sitcom funny and entertaining, it truly does a good job about teaching children about the obstacles that high school and peers may throw at you. The characters include Zach the head honcho and trouble-maker, AC Slater the jock, Jessie the brainiac, Lisa the fashionista, Kelly the head cheerleader, and Screech the class nerd. With these dynamics, this sitcom was a great success.
Classic Nineties Sitcom #4: Home Improvement
This family show included Tim "the Tool Man" Taylor, his three sons, his wife, their nosy neighbor, and his desperate best friend, Al. Tim and Al had a home improvement show that often went awry. He seemed to be the biggest klutz while trying to be quite the handy man. When things went wrong, he would turn to his nosy neighbor, Wilson, for smart advice. The audience would only see Wilson from the nose up, which created quite a hilarious aspect to the show.
Classic Nineties Sitcom #5: Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
Fresh Prince was a nineties sitcom that showed the life of a boy, Will, from Philadelphia that needed to be put in his place by his Uncle Phil who lived in Bel-Air, California. His cousins Carleton, Hilary, and Ashley - as well as the butler, Geoffrey - add a contrast from Will that is undeniable. Will tries to fit in to the high-falutant Bel-Air lifestyle but ends up making humorous errors in doing so. Not only does the Bel-Air family impact Will, but Will influences them, too.

Friends is actually the only one I watched, it is hard to think it was back in the 90's, wow!
They were all favorites. Remember the Fresh Prince-Blossom Hour and TGIF? I lived for these shows. There were so many others, too, like Full House, Step by Step, The Cosby Show, Frazier, and more. I watched way too much TV back then. :)
