A Look at New Balance's 2008 Trail Running Shoes

Maggie OLeary
With more than 100 years of experience in the footwear industry, New Balance is known for its high quality athletic shoes. In fact, when I went to basic training for the military more than ten years ago, New Balance was the brand of running shoe that was highly recommended by the drill sergeants for trainees to purchase. In addition to athletic and running shoes, New Balance also makes shoes that are specifically designed for trail running.

While New Balance is a high quality manufacturer of athletic and running shoes, they only have two styles of trail running shoes for men and two styles for women for 2008. At this time, they do not offer trail running shoes in children's styles and sizes.

For men, New Balance offers the MT1110 - NBx trail running shoe. This shoe is an off-road trainer that provides extra cushioning and stability for your foot, which contributes to added comfort for your entire body as you run. This shoe also features a breathable Gore-Tex lining. This style of trail running shoe is available in an orange and gray color scheme.

Men also have the option of the MT800BG - Performance trail running shoes by New Balance. This style of trail running shoes were designed for the dedicated extreme trail runner, and are tough and durable. This style of trail running shoe comes in three color schemes - black and gold, black and orange, or green and navy.

For women, New Balance offers the WT1110 - NBx trail running shoes. These shoes also feature a breathable, waterproof Gore-Tex lining, and provide greater flexibility and stability for your feet. These are the most attractive New Balance trail running shoe, in a stylish gray and blue color scheme.

And also for the ladies, is the WT800 - Performance trail running shoe. These shoes were designed for the dedicated extreme trail runner, and feature flexibility and support for your feet. These shoes come in two color schemes - blue and gray, or black and red.

New Balance shoes are available from many online retailers, or you can find them at your nearest quality shoe retailer. Happy running!
