South Carolina Debates

Fred Thompson

He had a three step plan for immigration. Look for the jobs that are employing illegal immigrants. Find the illegal immigrants on Medicaid. Send the Illegal Immigrants home. Fred cut at Huckabee calling him a Liberal. He sided with the Navy Captains about their decisions, when they are out to sea.

Mitt Romney

He is a family man. He wants to see jobs be brought back to America. He wants to listen to the people, when they say we have not got any jobs anymore. He restructured his state. In his state people have Insurance now that have not been insured. Mr. Romney is Pro-Life. He does not believe in Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants. He believes that they should all have to wait their alloted time for citizenship.

Mike Huckabee

He is Pro-Life. He believes in the Marriage Institution. One man and one woman. He want to see Israel protected. Huckabee wants to see the economy get stronger. He also believes in the whole Bible.

John McCain

He is a strong political man. He fights against Ear marking money. He says that he will do something about Illegal Immigration but, does not have a plan that will work yet. He did state that he would put up barriers and a wall. John McCain also said," that keeping the Illegal Immigrants out of his own state has not worked."

He knows about Foreign policy and stands up for our soldiers. He wants to lower taxes, lower spending, have a strong military, and strong family morals. He believes in the Reagan Coalition.

Rudy Giuliani

He is strong politically. He learned his leadership skills while being Mayor of New York. He understands foreign policy. He supports the military. He does not believe the whole Bible,

Ron Paul

Say's he is a conservative but, says that we treat Israel as a step child. I wonder if he believes in the Bible . He sees' everything differently than Republicans do.

All of the Candidates except for Ron Paul believe that we are fighting Muslim terrorist. They all see Iran as a threat. They all agree that the American Navy captain has the responsibility to make decisions, while out to sea. The Republicans think that the Ronald Reagan Coalition needs to be reinforced. The morals and American ethics need to return to the Republican party.

The two most important issues we face today are the war and the economy. Both are tied to the Federal Reserve, and Ron Paul sees this as THE threat to American prosperity.

Inflation comes from an uneven change in the volume, say, when money is printed and given to a defense contractor. For the moment the contractor's suppliers do not realize the money volume has changed, the recipient of the printed money experiences increased purchasing power. The workers end up receiving the wage in old money, but then are faced with prices in the new money after the vendors adjust to the new money supply. If the Fed injects more money into the system, which causes more spending, then you will have more money chasing the same number of goods which causes inflation!

Dr. Paul, much like Jefferson and Jackson, believes as I do: The central bank is not only unconstitutional, but causes inflation by printing money from thin air. This causes the citizens to issue T-bills to support the created money
