A Look at H&M Clothing Stores

H&M is a great store for inexpensive fashions for ladies, men, and children. H&M originated in Sweden and has successfully traveled across the Atlantic Ocean thanks to cute trendy clothes, fashionable accessories, and low low prices. You can find an H&M in major cities in the United States like Chicago, New York, and San Francisco. Girls and ladies across America flock to these clothing Mecca's to find cheap goods that will have all their friend drooling with jealousy. Basically if you like trendy clothing, don't have a lot of money, and don't mind extremely long lines to get into the dressing room, H&M is for you.

The first time I walked in H&M I was blown away by the racks upon racks if cheap, cute, and colorful clothing. Target prices with a designer touch is one of the best description the clothing at H&M. I wish I had found H&M when I was about twelve years old. One of their main floors consists of clothing perfect to tweens and teens. Suffering from a disease known as the late twenties, I could never wear these fashions in public with out being laughed at and rightfully so.

Upstairs at H&M though you can find an entire level of clothing meant for twenty year olds and thirty something's who haven't gotten over finding cheap clothes with an edge. This clothing line at H&M is definitely different than any other clothing store. I highly recommend checking them out at least once. H&M is a great source for cheap shirts, skirts, and capris. Seriously some of their t-shirts are $6. Many of the designs compliment only customers who are below a size 8. So, if you are thin, stuck on cheap clothing, never worn real designer clothing, over twenty, and don't mind a crowd you should check this level of H&M out.

There is also a line of little girl's clothing at H&M that is darling. They carry mini versions of the adult styles, the ones that are appropriate enough anyway. H&M also carries a great selection of little girl accessories that range from flip-flops, to earring, and bracelets. Great headbands are also available. Prices are cheap here as well, so you could take your niece out and let her shop shop shop.

The H&M in Chicago has one level dedicated to inexpensive men's clothing. The look is definitely trendy and the prices are equally as low as in other departments. You can find cheap button downs, very cheap t-shirts, and super faded jeans that are very much in style right now. Sizes run a little small, so if you have shoulders, you may want to go to a big boy's store. The men's section would be more appropriate of young men in high school. The trendy fashions at H&M would definitely age any male above twenty-four.

Overall, H&M is a great place to buy inexpensive clothing. After the initial shock of H&M's trendy designs and cheap prices wear off you may find yourself running back to higher quality stores like Limited, Express, and Banana Republic. After about my third trip the charm of H&M had worn off and I sort of recognized that some of these clothing items were completely unbearable in public or private. Buy with caution and always try it on no matter how long the line is. If it doesn't fit then you will have to wait in that same line to return it!
