A Look into Heaven

One thing people always forget is that life is to be used in preparation for the second coming of God. Moreover, everything we do in this life is to please God by using the life of his son Jesus as our example. I know it seems impossible to ignore the things life throws at you mercilessly, such as work, and the accumulation of things that would make life more comfortable. Even if one has to get into debt just to receive it. Sometimes life will not allow you to get that high income job due to where you live. Without the necessary funds it won't be easy to relocate to a city who would appreciate your talents. The debt builds up and you try to do right and things always go wrong. You pray and pray for a way out, but it seems as if God may want you to stew in it for awhile. The stress of it all is rapidly destroying your health and you are at wits end. In times like these, you need to reconnect to those life lessons you may have learned long ago found in the Bible. You need to give your burdens to God, and think of a better reality that will never be destroyed like the life you want to live down here.

First, select soothing music to play on your stereo and sit with eyes closed in your favorite chair. Next, remember what you've read about heaven in Revelation chapters 21 and 22. Imagine a radiant city clear as the rarest jewel jasper or crystal with pure golden streets just as transparent. Surrounding this fantastic scene is a great high wall of 144 cubits with twelve entrances in every direction representing the names of the tribes of the apostle sons of Israel. The very foundation of this city is adorned with every jewel and gem from Jasper to sapphire to agate to emerald to onyx to carnelian to chrystolite to beryl to topaz to chryophrase to Jacynth to amethyst. Enter the opened gate and there is a soft radiant light of God who replaced the light from the sun and moon that isn't needed there. Look down visualizing the river of life that is clear and radiant as a crystal flowing from God's throne through the streets. To your left and right are the trees of with twelve kinds of fruit that will yield each month!

The leaves are the healers that will heal all those afflicted with sin poisoned lives from Earth the one and only fallen planet. Imagine that pain, sadness, death, debt, poverty, disease, divorce, abandonment, colds, fire, floods, tornado's and all thing that destroy will NOT exist there. Imagine true happiness and serenity from peace that will exist forever more. Can you see your friends and family that passed away now alive to live forever with God? Can you picture looking perfect without flaw? Can you imagine praising God forever for the rescue from earth? Remember that those who die do not go directly to heaven before us. God will come to get those who survive the tumultuous times and raise those who are saved to go up together. So, keep your mind and actions focused on God. Think of that beautiful city he has prepared, and the new earth filled with things we cannot imagine. Amen!
