A Look at SkinVoice.com: The Voice of Your Skin

Lori Godin
SkinVoice.com created an atmosphere for those who treasure their skin. My entire life I have been advocating these very thoughts to everyone I know, that the skin is so important to take care of, it is important to moisturize, wear sunscreen and protect your skin in any way possible. Finally, here is a website and a company that advocates this same information with elegance and information and allows a personal appeal to the viewer.

From the moment that you enter the website you are greeted with soft, serene music and words about what your skin means to you, skin voice, the voice that we give our skin, what our skin would say to us if we let us, allows us the chance to speak for our skin.

This is an innovative marketing technique as it draws a new focal point to skin care; it allows us to think about our skin from a different perspective. It is well designed, calming and reassuring, much like the brand that they are promoting.

Healthy skin makes one feel healthier, brighter, and happier about their day. The website promotes healthy skin through their videos and truly makes me feel like I should use more Vaseline. Although Vaseline is already my regular brand of lotion, if it were not, than I would definitely switch to it after visiting the site, and having a personal connection with the videos presented.

It shows that skin care is universal, we all have skin, and we all want healthy and moisturized skin. It shows that Vaseline is a brand that does not discriminate; it is available far and wide across the world to anyone that would like to use it. This campaign is one of the genius marketing techniques that could be compared to the likes of Dove's real beauty campaign. Using web tools such as this create a personal experience, and they did a great job with the movies.
