A Look at Stylish Leopard Print Coats for Winter 2010

Cassie B. Adonoson
Animal prints have been growing in popularity for quite some time and 2010 is no exception. This year, more and more women are purchasing leopard coats. They are fashionable, stylish and if planned correctly, can go with a lot of outfits. So here is a look at five different leopard coats, which I think are within a reasonable price range while still looking stylish. Because if done incorrectly, leopard coats can look cheap and classless. But if done correctly, they are an asset to any woman's closet. And, as an aside, these are all fake fur, I don't believe in using real fur. Besides, that's just way too expensive.

Lucky Brand Leopard Fur Coat ($199)

I love this coat because it has some length to it, but it's not too long. It will go past your waist. It has large marble button and the interior is lined, so it will keep you warm. It has large lapels, so it works with a lot of different types of shirts as well. Pair it with some black pants and boots and you are ready to go!

Monteray Bay Easy Update Faux Fur Coat ($29.99)

I love this coat. It's a simple update to any outfit to make it a little more stylish. It's got a peter pan collar and loop closings. It's inexpensive and stylish. It goes great with a nice pair of jeans for a day out.

Newport News Knee-Length Swing Coat ($109)

I really like this coat because it looks more expensive than it really is. It's made of faux fur, but it looks real. It's lined so it will keep you warm. This coat is more plush than the previous too, so it will definitely keep you warm and stylish during the winter.

Spiegal Suede Wrap Jacket ($149)

This jacket is more of a night out jacket. Sexy, yet completely stylish. It's a wrap jacket with silver buttons, so it's elegant and classy. It has a notch collar and it is lined, so it will keep you warm as well. It's a jacket for a night out on the town.

Skea Alicia Jacket ($169)

I like this jacket because of it's simplicity and subtlety. It only has leopard print lining around the neckline, sleeves and waist. It's lined so it will be nice and warm, but it's lightweight so it won't weigh you down. It's mostly black so it will give you the leopard print look you desire without being over the top.
