A Lot to be Thankful For

Deep fried turkey, all crisp and brown,
With cornbread stuffing and sweet potato pie.
Kinfolks come in from out of town
And Cousin Bessie's giving me the eye.
She wants to go kissing out behind the barn
But, I won't go 'cause I'm too shy.
'Sides, Uncle Joe wants to watch football
And, Pa's brought out his best batch of squeezin'
Which he won't let me drink 'cause I'm too young.
But, I get high on the fumes. Boy I do dearly love this season.
