A Mallow Cup? Soothing My Mind with a Treat Refined

Trying New Treats Often Brings Happy Surprises. Still, Sometimes Old Favorites Are Difficult to Give Up

Linda Ann Nickerson
I just received a recitation
Of a steamy beverage station.
Dropping mallows in the drink
Is tastier than folks may think.

For coffee is a wondrous thing;
It makes the heart and mind to sing.
Folks doctor it with cream and sweets
And even white marshmallow treats.

I much prefer my coffee black,
So might I take a different tack?
Hand me those mallows, on a stick.
I'll make s'mores and make 'em quick!

Still, you can toss them in your cup,
And lap that sticky caffeine up.
I'd rather eat them in a flash
To spare myself a white mustache!
